Met a Representative at a vendor food show. Discussed purchasing several products in bulk to the tune of Thousands of Dollars.I sent emails to both of the listed email addresses, and called several times over the course of a month now!The lady who answers the phone tells me the managers not there, the wholesale department is on lunch break, and their voicemail box is full.It seems like this one lady who answers the phone is the only person who works there and is constantly swamped, which means you either need more staff, or you don't need my business.Very disappointed with this lack of customer service. Why did you go to a vendor trade show...? Not to drum up new business obviously.
What a great variety of Turkish, European and MidEastern fare. Awesome deli counter, and bakery with the best nougat and pistachio laced fare, and if you’re hungry for meat there’s a Top Gun Steakhouse grill right on premises!!! We love going here on weekends and picking up treats or the regular grocery run. The staff are friendly and considerate!
I tried them out a few months ago they were good. I went in with my husband who spoke Turkish and I got a great serviceFew months later I went back in asked for a cut of meat to be weighed then to be grounded he took it to the backIt was ready in literally 5 seconds and it looked so fatty. When I asked he said this is the cut you asked.I went home it smelled off and was all dark in the bottom.I am very disappointed and I feel like i have been ripped off. Charged for lean cut and given a fatty piece in return.
Amazing Halal meat and deli. Lovely Turkish Dessert counter selling Baklava and Turkish delights. Great customer service.
After finding out about the place, we refuse to get our meats from anywhere else. And we’ve got everyone we know hooked. Great quality and amazing prices.

Giving one star due to customer service from Solmaz. We have been enjoying Solmaz’s products for a long time. I wasn’t expecting that upon my complaint (that their current batch of products that I bought aren’t tasting good) the owner wont stand behind its brand to protect it. Though I bought them from Iqbal Food Erin Mills but regardless from where you buy the company should stand behind their products and brand. He should have given me assurances to investigate the matter with Iqbal and should have helped me instead of saying I cant do anything.
Solmaz Food products are great, I'm yet to try everything, but I buy their salami and pepperoni frequently from different locations. I ordered pepperoni online from their sepet.ca site, order arrived next day. Definitely recommended.
An absolute gem! We were looking for a place to buy some Turkish coffee (after our disappointment with another store...) and came across Solmaz Foods in our new area. I am awed by their pasty/dessert collection - especially the freshness of Baklava - It is true to its kind, same as you'll find in Turkey's south - and the kindness of the staff working here was exemplary. Funda was such a delight to interact with. We are so happy to come across Solmaz Foods, will be absolutely coming back again and recommend everyone around Kipling Dundas area. If you who are looking for a clean, fresh, pleasant store to buy amazing Turkish food and deserts, look no further!
