I was surprised to read a previous reveiw ? feeling sorry!we drove from Oakville today to pick up our kebab family plate. And we didn't have any issue. Actually, as always. Very delicious traditional Iraqi food: fresh yellow rice, chicken&beef kebab, red beans soup and bread. Everything was good. Thank you!
My wife and I used to go there every other week to buy Iraqi bread from them. last Sunday we went there as usual and they were a little busy. my wife asked the bold guy (most likely the owner) if she “can get some fresh bread as we drove all the way from Milton for it” and his response was so shocking, he turns to one of his employees and tells her “give her some fresh bread, she came to us all the way from Najaf (in referral to a city known to hold the biggest cemetery in the world) then when my wife asked him why he’s being rude he starts shouting “don’t cause any trouble” ? I always thought the restaurant business was all about customer service, but I’m starting to think the owner of this place probably thinks that customers are the ones to SERVE him!Oh to be fair with this review, I think the food gets a 3/5, sanitary gets 2/5, frozen foods 2/5, bread 3/5 (just because it’s the only iraqi bread we could find that doesn’t taste sweet) otherwise the edges are actually super thick and sometimes not very well cooked. We left Iraq because of savages who don’t have manners, education and basic understanding of mutual respect, so going to a place that reminds us of all of that is NOT something we can afford to do and if u r like us I recommend u not to ever visit!
