My wife and I came across here one Sunday a few months back and were instantly impressed with the ambiance, food and pleasant staff. Since then we have visited here several times and enjoy each visit. Try the polenta fries they are fantastic.

I was in the mood for a delicious omelet, and from the reviews I read about Route 401 Diner's being so good, decided to have their Italian Omelet. It was indeed tasty and delish, and it came with perfectly made home fries and toast with jam. We enjoyed being out on the cozy patio, and received wonderful service. I recommend you eat there!
I opened a business nearby and I love breakfast, so my son and I decided to check it out. It’s super classic. Old photos - just a timeless place. Service was very friendly and the traditional bacon and eggs were awesome. I was surprised it wasn’t packed. Good work guys and thank you. We’ll be back.

I ordered the traditional breakfast and the food was nice and in good portion, I didn’t like the baked potatoes though as I personally prefer them fried instead of baked.I dis like the vibe of the place very much, it kinda felt right out of the 60s.I gave them one less star for bad service though but maybe the servers are new and I would visit again and see if I get the same kind of experience.If the next time turns out better I will give them 4 stars

Amazing diner! Best milkshakes!! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and the food was amazing. Service was amazing too. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast.
Pretty decent for lunch. I had a bowl of soup and a sandwich and both were very decent. They have a nice, classic dinner decor, it's clean and the place has friendly staff.
