Absolutely delicious food! The fried chicken and jerk chicken had such an amazing spice mixture, and the jerk chicken had a great char. We were treated to a delicious spread of a little bit of everything from the menus - to say the most, we had every staff member except two people in the lunch room to eat! The rice with beans and the salad were amazing. We also got some fried bread along with it and it was a perfect pairing. Thank you to Romeo and Karen for the great treat! Will definitely come by the restaurant for more!!
The chicken was very juicy and fresh. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The rice with the beans and the salad goes perfectly with the curry that is served on the side with the chicken. The curry adds a lot of spice to the chicken for people like me who wouldn't mind a little extra spice to their food. To top it off with the nice little dessert at the end just makes you end your meal with a smile and I would honestly go back just for the dessert. So I would definitely recommend the restaurant for people who want to share a laugh with some of the nicest well mannered group of people working at Romeos's Island Grill along with the best food and ambience.
Thankful to Almighty that I got the chance to enjoy their food! Although everything was delicious, I have to mention the chicken they make. Both the fried chicken and the Jerk chicken were just perfect. I honestly haven’t had more juicier and well seasoned chicken in a restaurant. My second favourite were the biscuits, oh! Amazing! soft and smooth! Finally, the vegetable salad is also worth mentioning for its freshness.
I bought a tray of Jerk Chicken and Goat Curry for a party of 15 for Easter weekend, and I want to say my party, and I enjoyed the meal. The lady who took my order was patient with me the day I came to get it, the handoff was great, and the room temperature since the event was the next day (kindly suggested by the lady). I want to thank the ladies and chef for their service; the portions and packaging were excellent. It went round and no spills/stains. Thank you so much, and keep up with the fantastic work. Service is phenomenal ??. Food is juicy, delicious and flavourful ?.
Wow ! Where do I start. The food was so tasty. Asked for extra sauce I got that. The portion size was amazing so much food for the large. Fed my wife and son and my self The service was awesome. The lady was so wonderful I wish I got her name. Think she was the owner. Professional and very sweet. I’ll be back for sure. I wanted to take a picture of how big the portion was but I ate it too quickly. Really good oxtail bursting with flavour and great for the price too! Meat was so juicy and tender. I wished I lived closer because this would easily become my go to spot. Service was also really amazing and kind!
bought the fry chicken with rice rice with coleslaw. the portion was good. there was option for rice and peas with Mac and cheese. I really enjoyed it ☺️
Tastes great. Price is cheap. Portions are great. I hax the jerk pork with brown rice and beans with a side of plantain. I'll eat there over KFC anytime of day.
