Decided to try a new pizzeria along the way. I had high expectations for this place. It seemed to look like a good one this time .The dude at the counter was somewhat rude and arrogant. All he seemed to care was if I was paying cash or not. Now for the pizza, it was dry and burnt at the bottom. The cheese lacked real flavor and it tasted too salty like, as if someone dropped a batch of salt by accident in the pizza dough. I just wasn't impressed by what you pay for over here. Will be continuing on further for my quest to find an amazing authentic Italian pizzeria in etobicoke.
Great sandwiches! The chicken park is so good so much better then California sandwiches and cheaper!
Best pizza in the area... The rest of dishes are just like HOME made... GREAT service.Good job Chris!!!
We had two feature pasta dishes - linguine Paradise and Penne with shrimp and scallops in a rose sauce , as well as a Rucola salad . All were excellent! Well prepared, perfectly cooked and delicious! Rocco’s has been around for a long time because it is consistently of great quality and value.
This pizza joint really hits spot. Be aware this place doesn't accept any card payment under $5. So make sure you carry some cash with you whenever you plan to grab a slice of pie. Place is clean and tidy and bonus you get free candy to eat and chilli oil to slather your pizza with if you like it hot... Customer service is good. Rocco is a great host. Loved the Harry Potter show on TV while my visit to this extravagant pizza joint.
I used to live in the area and ordered Rocco's at least once per week. I didn't realize there was a change of ownership and ordered the other day when I was in the neighbourhood. The pizza cost 40% more than it used to ($22 now $28) and it wasn't as good. The pizza was smaller and it had less cheese. It also had those dry, topping-less cooked air bubbles. I definitely wouldn't return at those prices.
Really great pizza. Hard to get all the items in on the menu. And hours are a but inconsistent
When I walked in I was informed that ownership was changed. It is clean on the inside and looked nice. On this particular day there was only one person at the shop. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs to-go, which came up to about 13 dollars. The meatballs were the frozen type, which is disappointing for a pizza and pasta place. But the basil was fresh from plants in the shop. Would maybe try a pizza next time.
The best pizza ever ask for Chris he's a really nice guy
We were a group 0f 17 people visiting for dinner for a special family dinner.. Roxanna and her staff took exceptional care and the service was perfect! The food prepared by Rocco the owner was excellent; the highest quality, generous portions, served hot, every meal was perfectly prepared and enjoyed. The veal parmesan was huge and most important so tender and flavourful, accompanied with a side of homemade pasta and delicious sauce. The lobster spaghettini with mixed veggie in a pesto flavor was the most delicious dish ever!. Did I mention the snapper fish. Melts in your mouth. Minestrone soup the way Nona made it. Dessert; homemade tiramisu. Best ever. This is the place to enjoy a fantastic night out with great food and service.
