My bf and I first time here, we were looking to try a new place and whenever we pass we see this restaurant full so we give it a try.We went on a Saturday evening we thought might be busy , we wait a little bit in the front door it wasn’t busy so not to many hostess just 1 and got busy with a phone call, someone else have to take us to our table ( so is someone is in a hurry this is not ur place) my bf n I like to enjoy our meals and the tempos . The menu is not that big i found this great cuz is easy to choose, the prices are &30 dolar per pasta so i said little high but maybe the taste is the difference the antipasto $30 dolar it comes with figs so i like those , pepperoni , cheeses, the taste was really good my bf loved those, i was disappointed cuz the bread was cold , restaurants like this usually served hot bread, the traditional olive oil and balsamic vinegar amazing this one wasnt that stronger as i tried other ones before, the waiter was only one so we had to wait a few minutes for our drinks to get refill, the main course delicious i ordered the vitello ala marsala omg so tendered the flavor amazing I enjoyed so much with vegetables and french fries and little pepper my bf ordered vitello al limone is his favorite from every italian restaurant , he enjoyed also with veggies and French fries, $30 dl per plate, the atmosphere was very nice, cozy, romantic music played on the background we were really enjoying our dinner here , about the prices we found it little higher but had a great time. Everyone should give them a try.
My family and I came here for a 65th birthday this past weekend and it was unreal !!! Food is authentic Italian perfectly cooked pasta served many different ways. I had the linguine with sea food and it was packed with sea foods !!! We were at table of 6 with appetizers and mains and desserts for the table . Service was very welcoming and we enjoyed the food and drinks so much !! The only thing that went sideways was the fact we forgot to mention to separate the bills ahead of time and the server stated he couldn’t separate them for us at the end of the dinner . I was disappointed with that because I feel he should of mentioned about the bills when he sat us. But other than that I would recommend posticino for all the Italian food lovers . I came from hamilton to go to Toronto for this dinner simply because it is hard to find Italian food that is done right in hamilton! 100% go to posticino for all your Italian cravings
Came here for a Last minute dinner plan for a friends birthday. We called the day of and luckily got a reservation in the evening. Our waitress was amazing and the overall experience was so great. The food was amazing, we ordered a bunch to share but I would definitely recommend the mussels.. cooked to perfection !! Thanks to the bartenders , made an excellent Aperol spritz! Big thanks to Franco for welcoming us with a big heart , it was a wonderful night .. will definitely be visiting again.
Had an amazing experience when I stopped by for dinner with my family. Not only do they have the most delicious Italian food but they have welcoming staff who are sweet and hard working. They make you feel like family. I highly recommend this restaurant to all. I will definitely be back!
Amazing restaurant, with great vibes and authentic Italian cuisine. Chef Antonio is incredible. One of the best places to go to for dinner!
Had a work dinner here. Staff are friendly and attentive. I think we were a bit loud in our passionate conversation. It's a cozy place with an extensive wine menu and they were able to accommodate my colleagues' specific requests.
Reservation was for 7:30. Received our dinner at 9:45. Was told/asked by server to order early as there was a large party and he wanted to ensure we got our food first. Well that did not happen. We ordered early as requested and had to ask a number of times where our meal was. Noticed that tables who sat after us and ordered after us received their meals before we did. Although the food was good the service was horrific. Noticed a number of staff wearing their face masks beneath their noses or beneath their chins!!! Really during these times the management needs to be more diligent than they are. For this reason I will never go back there.
Many times I am told about a place and when I arrive I am disappointed. NOT THIS PLACE! The greeting was warm. The parking (after 6), was free. The collection of happy people dining inside gave the place a lovely vibe. Then there was the service... accomodating and attentive. The food was mesmerizing and took me to my childhood and beyond. The feature of smelts were better than even my grandma made (which usually came fresh from the Don River, when it was clean) - and they were tail and bone-free! The bruschetta was delicious. The veal chop was so very tender, jammed with sensitive flavours and topped with.... pistachio's. A side of rotini, hugging the sauce at every curve, topped with basil and sprinkle of parmigiano reggiano, that I believe was a blend. 1 glass of chianti, a sambuca and an espresso and I was done! Then, Chef Antonio came and convinced me to try the tiramisu that was specificall .made, carefully, in-house. That called for another espresso. When they both arrived, I could not get over the feeling of angels dancing on my tongue! A memeorable meal, experience and night! "I'LLL BE BAAAK!"
Always a warm and inviting time. The food is wonderful, and they always ask how the meal was. Antonio makes everyone feel like family. A great experience. Don't forget the dessert!
Very disappointed. First time here. Vaccine passport not asked for and when we provided it, no piece of ID was asked to verify our identity. People moving around without masks when not at their table. Employees not wearing masks properly or even not at all. 100 percent capacity happening …. Thought that was happening Monday October 25th? Flat water offered? 7 bucks for tap water in a bottle? Disappointing Caesar salad … for $15 you need to improve it! Packed venue … we must be missing something.
