Salad Soup

Cobb salad was good but the restaurant was dirty. Bathrooms unclean, dining room unswept with food everywhere, doors filthy. As this was only an hour after they opened, and there were only four other people in the restaurant when we arrived, this tells me it wasn’t even cleaned from the day before.

Our lunch was too expensive and very disappointing. We had take out salads, perhaps they should stick with sandwiches. I reached out to Panera Canada but no one bothered to respond. I will not be going back.

Not the best customer service and I’m pretty sure it was the manager cashing everyone. Rudely interrupting everyone while ordering. It was absurd. I’ve never seen someone do that. Coffee isn’t self serve anymore. I’m sure that’s a covid thing but on top of that they only had one type and one flavoured. And pastries were ALL old. And I mean old. Cardboard, hard as a rock, hard to break. It was strange. I haven’t been to Panera in a long time! I remember it being different. Not sure if this location is just lacking in quality in many areas unfortunately. Half the dinning it closed and dirty used kitchen equipment is stored there. I think they are using covid as an excuse at this time. Everything place is back to normal minus the rightful “health” places. This place needs head office to come take a look. And apparently washroom was disgusting. I didn’t go but I overheard.

I was living in Chicago and Panera was my go to place every single day, nice atmosphere, clean and great service.I was so dissapointed with this Panera, I did not feel welcomed, every table was dirty, I had to clean my table using napkings and water, food crumbs all over the floor, a section is closed and chairs are upside down on tables, the place looks abandoned! The food was ok, never coming back. Photo does not make justice for the depressing atmosphere.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but the employees here need to go through customer service training again. I walk in and received no acknowledgement after making eye contact with the employees, just chatting with coworkers. After waiting for their conversation to be over one of the ladies proceeds to ignore me so I ask whether they are accepting orders at the moment (politely) and she just looks at me with a straight face and says “we’re busy right now.” Maybe the kitchen may have been busy with orders, but there was nobody else at the front ordering but myself. I would’ve been fine being asked to wait. The attitude and sass of the employee was very unnecessary and disrespectful.

The food is always great, I love the mac & cheese, however the last few times I’ve visited, the service has been terrible. Especially my most recent visit just this week, when the employee packaging my order was very clearly touching her face and mouth before handing me my food (of course with her mask under her chin). I understand that masks are no longer mandatory but why have it if you aren’t going to wear it? Employees here seem like they just don’t care about the job whatsoever. Just an overall terrible service experience and vibe in there.

Best ĺunch soup + bagel with cream cheese ?Awesome ?

Dropped by here with a friend for dinner. The food was expensive for what you got. I used to like this place, but not sure if I will be back. There were not many people here - always a sign you need to heed.

Love Panera - especially the squash soup with pumpkin seeds and Turkey bacon sandwich… & orange scones. (And mmmm.. the breakfast soufflé/croissant-y things - when breakfast hours return again).REQUEST: it would be soooooo nice if the squash soup was served year round (or at least I could still get it in January and other colder months). I would visit more in Q1 if the soup was available.

We have been to this location 4 times in the last 2 months and the service was atrocious. Twice the store was closed during the hours of operation. One time they got the order completely wrong and the last time they refused to serve us at 6:50pm when the doors close at 7pm. This would be somewhat acceptable however when you are driving 35 minutes to buy food and call ahead to see what time they close it is very disappointing! We were fans but now have to find alternative restaurants to eat at.
