The food is good but the service is awful. There were only two tables when I was eating there, mine and other table. When they served our food, they never came back to ask how was everything and if we want more water. I've been there many times and have spoken to the person at the cash register about their service. I know it's a family operated business but still, you have to have good customer service.
I have increased my ratings to 5, it is by far the best tasting Shawarma. I have been here multiple times since I came for the first time 3 years ago.#supportlocal but above all the personal service. I have even got the catering to feed the family, their garlic potatoes are on point everytime, the mixed platter is amazing, and even the lamb was really good though a bit pricey. I have had the kofta and it was also good.Thank you for opening the door again for me an my wife and serving as a good meal as you had just closed. totally recommended !!!
I love this place. The food is amazing!! Coming from Ottawa there’s a level expectation for shawarmas and this place definitely meets those expectation. I am platter guy so I only order the platter. Favourite platter is the Palmyra platter, which gives you multiple types of meat, shawarma (chicken & beef) grilled chicken pieces and beef kabob. I highly recommend!!
It was a cool and crisp afternoon, my wife and I were a long way from home and were craving some hummus and falafels. Enter Palmrya Mediterranean House. Their food was so so tasty, it hit the spot! The portions were generous, and the price was very affordable.I only went inside to pick up the order, but it was a very well designed restaurant with lots of space and a great ambiance.As a bonus: the lentil soup was exceptional; as was their service!We hope to frequent them again soon!
Got catering: food was flawless! Fed a crowd and everyone enjoyed. Ordering and pick-up was super smooth; lovely people at the restaurant. Can’t wait to order again!
Wow our family of 5 was recently discriminated against because we did not want to disclose our medical private status! We have been regular customers there until recently, what a shame! the staff doesn't even bother to get informed on the rights of Canadians. All this while the restaurant was empty!!! This restaurant will not survive long with these crimes against humanity!
Wow, after a week on disappointing travel this was the best thing to come home to. Home I mean Canada. We’re we have choices to enjoy the verity of culture. Thanks so much for the most amazing meal. I enjoyed the PALMYRA and it’s was so incredibly delicious. Also as one that does nit get to eat Middle Eastern cuisine as often as I like. This was a perfect way to sample everything. The price was incredibly reasonable. I hope if you’re staying close to the airport you come and support this establishment. You will not be disappointed.
The food was amazing - the garlic potatoes out of this world, and the meats so tender and delicious. We had the mixed grill platter and Babaghanouj and all was exceptional. The staff are also very friendly and responsive.
Overpriced for the portions. The guy working there looked like he was sleepy, slow and made mistakes in the order.I asked for some extra tomatoes, but he's like already added (3 small slices).Plus no options for small sizes.Rating 4 star because the food tasted great.
Honestly one of the BEST chicken shawarma plates I've ever had. Most shawarma joints are relatively similar in taste but there's something different about their sauces and chicken that seriously stands out. I will travel from Mississauga (Sq1 area) just to have a shawarma platter from Palmyra! 10/10 would recommend !
