A humble and authentic Japanese restaurant for sure. The chef definitely specializes in a few select dishes and all of them were flavourful and delicious.Also keep in mind that it is a single man operation, so bring a friend or a book
Definitely worth the wait here!! The owner is very transparent at the start of the visit that he is a one man show and indicates it may take sometime for your order.We ordered three entrees all came out within 30 min and so delicious! We then all ordered ramen. The ramen broth was exceptional; so flavourful, delicious, rounded and rich without being too salty like many chain ramen spots around the city!A Japanese hidden gem in mimico; would go back anytime!
Would highly recommend coming for the ramen. The broth is especially flavorful. Hate to say it but I'd pass on the okonomiyaki (certainly not authentic Osaka style and the flavour combo is a bit strange). Also for some reason, you can't get tap water, which is a bit unusual in Toronto.Owner is fun and eccentric. Makes the dining experience enjoyable.
The wait time was long but we were allowed to bring our own drinks to the table while we waited and that was very nice! When the food came out the wait time was forgotten! Everything was so delicious and fresh. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who is thinking of going.
Great food! We ordered takeout ramen and the broth was so delicious. Service was great and our order was ready when we were told to arrive. (We ordered in advance on Instagram.) The food is fantastic, and we were even given instructions on how to make it taste best at home!
Me and my wife have been wanting to try this little spot for awhile now and it didn't disappoint. It's a one man show here and the owner does not take any shortcuts to make anything faster. He provides a unique and memorable experience for every customer. Some customers are told about the potential long wait time but it is worth it as the food and the service is fantastic.
Great food and a great owner! We called ahead 15 minutes to order and the food was ready when we got there. The ramen is amazing and high quality. Karaage was so crispy. You can tell the care put into the food by the presentation. Highly reccomend, you must check it out.
Best Japanese restaurant! The owner was super nice and friendly. I ordered Ramens and Okonomiyaki and the food was top tier Japanese food in Toronto. Ramen has best broth and ramen was better than the ramen that I tried from Japan! I even forgot to take pictures of ramens because it was too good to try. I would definitely recommend this place!

The real-life Masutā! I had a great time dining here, the croquette appetizer was especially delicious. Made to order, right out of the deep fryer. The ramen was also great for a hearty meal with an abundance of garlic-onion-ginger aromatic flavour.The only bummer was the no-water service, but the available drink options were great.
