Milestones is a unique restaurant located in the North Area.Located right in the heart of the North York area, Milestones provides an atmosphere for a family affair. The restaurant is located not too far from the Toronto Pearson International Airport, and it's just a drive away.I was really impressed with the customer service at Milestones as it was up to par and the way that the staff treats customers is really amazing. The menu at Milestones has a variety to choose from, as you get your intake of burgers, steaks, salads, and much more. They do have a variety of seafood options as well.Milestones is a great restaurant to visit with family or friends just taking in the atmosphere and being ready to celebrate on any occasion.I will definitely be back to Milestones as I thoroughly enjoyed their Cali Burger and Cali Salad as well.Cheers ??
My family decided to have brunch, instead of dinner, on Mother's Day this year. Booking late, my sister called a dozen restaurants, all of which were booked. Only Milestones had space. After our brunch, we wished that when my sister had called, Milestones had been fully booked too.If not for our server, Michaela, I would have given Milestones one star. Michaela was personable, attentive, and, regrettably necessarily, very apologetic. I tipped her 20%, despite our awful experience. We were seated at 11 am; we ordered our meals at 11:15 am (I was noting the time because when my sister booked, we were told that we could only have the table until 12:30 pm). Our meals began arriving at 11:55 am. I say "began" because more that five minutes passed between the time that the first person was served and the last person. my poor, hungry. eleven year old niece was served.I suspect that our order was forgotten because, as my poor, hungry niece kept pointing out, tables seated after us (we were a table of seven) were served well before us. When the food finally came:- My mother's eggs were cold. (Earlier, her cocktail order was wrong: it was made with grapefruit juice instead of the orange juice that she ordered).- My husband's and my sister's "over-easy" eggs were long overcooked. (My husband's eggs were dark brown; we were surprised that the kitchen would even send them out looking like that).- Nobody's toast appeared toasted.- My order of soft-poached eggs with ham appeared as cold poached eggs with solid yolks, and sausages. (Michaela took it away and brought me my order hot within five minutes; you rock, Michaela!).My husband asked me to note that the restaurant space was bright and and inviting. And I will add that the washrooms were very clean. But, given the food that we received after our more than forty-minute wait, Milestones still does not warrant three stars.Thank you, Michaela, from preventing our unfortunate (and not to be repeated) meal at Milestones from being a complete, "one star" disaster.
Best food and service I have ever had in a restaurant hands down. Extremely professional staff on the day I was here, steak was absolute perfection along with the shrimp that came with it. Cheesecake was Devine. I'm from the country and if you are, skip the ice in your drink it's town water and I could taste it in my drink. Besides that it was perfect. If they used other water to make their ice or off gassed the water in a jug overnight it would be better, but I wouldn't penalize someone for that.
We're currently out of town and decided to grab dinner here as it wasn't too far from our hotel. When we got there ( approx 6:15 ) it wasn't too busy and never got overly busy as they still were closing at 9pm. We got sat down and served drinks quite quickly. Soon after our drinks came, our waitress came and took our food order. I would say the wait for the food was pretty average. After dinner, we ordered some desert, I had requested not to have the espresso glaze with the cheesecake but the kitchen staff may not have received the communication, not a deal breaker, I just ate around it.Once we had our desert, no one seemed to check on us to see if there was anything else we needed or to bring our bill. After half an hour later, one of the bartenders came over to see if we needed anything, all we were waiting for was our bill to pay. We never saw our waitress after she brought our desert up until the time we walked out. ( 8:20 ) For the price we paid, it would have been nice to have someone come ask if there was anything else needed.
Came across the street from my hotel and bad service at the bar. From the moment I walked into Milestones I felt welcomed. Justin the bartender or mixologist (not sure) was so attentive and has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!I just want to say thank you to the whole team for making my time at Milestones awesome. Next time when I'm at my regular hotel I will uber here... just for the service. Thanks.
Waiting guys for you to be open in the am again on weekends for your awesome brunch!! Best eggs benedict you can get. Please tell me that will be happening soon. I am dying here.
Stopped in for a light bite to eat and enjoyed it a lot. The waitress was upbeat and funny and did not rush us. Shared the Chili Chicken appetizer, a burger and some wine. Atmosphere is modern and inviting Ill definitely be back
We live nearby and visited here regularly before they shut down.We found out they were recently open so wanted to go support them.At front desk we were asked for qr codes. I presented my paper proof of vaccination with ID. Front desk stated he needed the QR Code. Every other restaurant we went to accepts the paper proof. The front desk staff stated that City Inspectors would not accept the paper copy if they inspected us. This is absolutely incorrect. So what if i left my cell phone at home? Or dont have a cell phone? Or my elderly parents who have old phones without qr codes, and the list goes on and on.We literally drove 3 minutes to Moxies and walked right in without any issues with my paper proof of vaccination. This is happening as we are on our way to ending mandates and restrictions? We will not be returning ever again.
Alright, can't believe I'm the only one posting a review since last year but here we go.First of all, Jessica was the nicest server I've had in a long time. Not only does she help you choose your meal but the way she describes each option makes you feel like your going to have a good meal regardless. Even with a mask, I could see her genuine smile. You can tell she's passionate about her job. I chose the Valentine's day special and I was very satisfied of my choice (with the help of Jessica of course). The Onion soup was rich in flavors, the cheese was melting all over and this is what you expect with this type of soup. I wasn't a fan of the soaked bread but that's just my personal opinion. The Sesame Ginger beef....wow, was it amazing!!! Tasty, rich in colors and the presentation was on point. Finally the desert, mouthwatering white chocolate cheese cake....I was in heaven. (She warned me that it was the best desert on the menu) Seriously, it felt like a Micheline star restaurant but accessible if you don't want to pay 300$ for a dinner. I had to give 20% tip because everything was perfect. Milestones, I'm in love with your restaurant. I'm from Montreal and I travel around the world for my job. My co-worker told me that your restaurant was good, I think it was GREAT. Thank you and Best of luck!
We were pleasantly surprised how great the food was. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious with generous portions. The restaurant is bright, modern with very friendly and efficient staff. The prices were reasonable with a great menu selection.Highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon!
