The food was very sweet and sour, not my type I love eating spicy food and have lots of flavours. But if you are into Canada-Chinese food ? it’s the best place you can go to enjoy a buffet style lunch and dinner ?.
Buffet on weekends. Small eats on weekdays and it was definitely worth it. Cheap for good equality food. Support business during covid is a must. Definitely coming back again
We love to go to Mandarin. Lots of varieties as usual. This time this place seemed little bit off, felt like something missing. But we loved eating there anyways after 2 years.
Not sure if it’s the two years pandemic keeping me away from Mandarin or if the food here is tastier than all other locations, I can only say that it is good to finally come back to Mandarin. My first time at his location. For sure we will be back. Come hungry! Don’t forget to save room for the dessert. Everything is delicious!
Not busy, friendly staff and delicious food
Excellent service, very friendly. The food tasted amazing, and the take-out packaging is exemplary. You can tell they take very special consideration. I appreciate that.
The meat and seafood were extremely stale. This is by far the worst buffet I have had in Toronto. It was extremely disappointing We left within half an hour after entering the restaurant. Please do not go. From outside the food looks extremely appetizing and colorful. However appearances can be deceptive. I only gave it 1 star for the dessert.
A long standing Rexdale tradition for birthdays and celebrations. Fairly priced, even in 2021 for a buffet. They have tried to keep themselves current and I commend that. Yes, I understand this may not all be gourmet, but what they do is provide an experiences for family and friends alike.
I went to this location recently and was shocked at how there was literally no covid 19 protocols implemented in this location. Now I've been to 3 different Mandarin locations and each one informed us it was mandatory to put on gloves which they provide at the entrance of the dinning area before touching any of the food to serve yourself, you must than remove the gloves when your back to your table to eat, to ensure no touch contact to help reduce the spread of covid 19. This location did not care at all. People were touching all the food with their bare hands, not wearing a mask and there was no food serving tools in the dessert section, people were grabbing doughnuts and waffles with there bare hands, prior to covid this would be nasty but now with this virus and people dying and getting sick its worse. When we asked a server why they weren't implementing these rules like other Mandarin chains she said just put the mask and gloves on for your own safety. Although people are vaccinated eating in the restaurant, the hygiene and safety of customers is literally non existent. I've been coming to this location for 15 years and will not be returning anymore. If you want to remain safe I'd advise not coming here.
It was a super fun experience with friends! Definitely go with an empty stomach. Staff were nice and friendly. Foods were delicious, fresh, and tasty. The deserts were good too but they could’ve been better quality, taste, and chocolate variety. Prices have gone quite up :)) Overall, enjoyable experience!
