We had a late lunch here. They have a reduced menu currently with something for everyone - mainly Tex mex. We enjoyed burgers, wraps, a bowl and tacos. Portions were generous and food was well cooked (as per the menu advertised).Service was reduced the day we visited and our server was basically taking care of the entire restaurant AND attempting to conquer new technology. Customers might enjoy their stay more if management is more generous with staffing.Ample parking, albeit the parking lot isn’t in great condition. Restaurant is accessible.l

Had been before post covid and super great food and service. This time around was not that sadly. Place was very under staffed, leaving only very small parts of this huge place with seating. We waited 10mins to sit at 230pm. Normally a slow time. Our waiter was friendly enough but stressed and when the food came out, many items cold. Fries and mushrooms for sure. One steak that was to be cooked Med, was very burnt on the bottom. Like burnt side down on a plate would not be noticed by the person trying to cut it! My Jack Burger was delicious but the rest of my party not to happy. Really hope the vibe changes soon. I'm sure it will bounce back to my 1st experience there. I did dig the Super Size Corona bottle.

Well let me start this 5 star rating at the beginning. We get there and find three extra wide handicap parking spots, extra wide to allow the ramp of my van and wheelchair to access the property with no problem. Better handicap parking than our hotel across the street. Next they actually had a nice ramp for my wheelchair to get down to the lower eating area, something I rarely see in restaurants. Next we met the friendliest hostess, nickname chili, I have ever met who ensured our seating was comfortable and even moved a table to accommodate the wheelchair. Next there was our server/waitress, nickname brandy, who was again the most pleasant, friendly and helpful person with quick quality service and super helpful. Knowing that I had some comments, the manager, nickname tequila, sat down with us and was genuinely interested in the good comments and bad comments about their accessibility and employees. She displayed a sincere concern to the improvement of the Lone Star to be better. And last but not least, the food was absolutely awesome. I can tell you from experience, the ribs actually do roll off the bone if you order that!!! Super happy we went there, very enjoyable family meal!!!!Thanks, Terry

Excellente ambiance, service rapide et courtois. J’ai adoré mon expérience.

Awesome food. Big portions

4 stars seems too high and three seems too low.The food was fine, fresh and well cooked fajita ingredients and fresh baked tortillas. The sides of quac, cheese, lettuce etc were straight out of a bag or tin and very disappointing. The margaritas were tasty enough, but why the need to include tapioca balls, especially ones that don’t fit up the straw? The service was really poor. Slow and ineffective and the restaurant itself is dated and “well used”.Another review said that it’s a great place to get takeout, but only get the takeout. I tend to agree.

The waiter was great. The food was very good. The young lady has us walking to the very back of restaurant when my husband has a cane. He has had 8 major operations and has had an infection for years that is why it is not healing. He may not look too injured for her but he is. We walked by many empty tables to go right at the back. When I asked not to go right at the. ack she but us were the staff come out. Waiter puts tray of food down on empty table. A young guy starts spraying cleaner on table beside tray of food.

Place needs to work on customer service, restaurant and lounge were less than half capacity and they turn business away saying not enough servers. Seen lots of staff hanging around, no one was over worked. Two hostesses at the door to tell people they are full? Manager needs to pay attention to what is happening. Lots of choices out there, I made a choice to take my business elsewhere.

Love the food especially the con queso. Ordering online is great but picking up on extremely cold days the food gets chilled quickly. Lone star why not try insulated bags for a small fee and discount on subsequent pickups.

Writing this review for my husband who was there yesterday afternoon.Everything was mediocre. Not horrible, not great.Fish Tacos came cold, and needed more sauce (very bland). Sweet potato fries were hot, tasty, but needed some type of dipping sauce (came with just ketchup & hot sauce). 2 Tacos & Fries $20.00. Regular Lime Margarita on the rocks was syrupy sweet, would have preferred more tangy. The food items were slow to come, and after they were delivered, no one came back to make sure all was OK, or see if he needed anything else. Otherwise he would have told them in person, versus writing this review. There were cobwebs in the light fixture above his table (booth) & on the walls (maybe the ambiance of Texas??). One good thing was a young lady who was in charge of cleaning the tables after people left. 5 Stars for her! She did an excellent job, getting every nook & cranny of the tables, chairs and the drink card on the table - kudos to her!Maybe he just picked the wrong menu item, or just came on the wrong day.
