This place has been on our list for quiet sometime and we finally got to treat ourselves. Such stunning ambiance right on the Lake Ontario, the service itself was top notch. For the food we started off with Bruschettas as started, for the mains we went with a traditional margarita pizza ( wood fired ) along with the chicken pasta which was filling and we ended our meal with a much needed espresso shot. Overall great experience and we would be visiting here again soon
I've been to this place multiple times already. This restaurant is perfect to visit for special occasions (I would recommend dine in area since they have much nicer tables and chair and the interior is so pretty). You can also go to the patio for more casual purpose. The only thing is I cannot bring my dog with me to the patio...they said I could but the space is very limited.I think if they can improve the washroom area, it will be perfect because it was very dirty!! Overall the food and service is great. I would highly recommend!
Was taken here for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Our server, Alex, was a sweetheart. Place looks top notch, service is great & food is quite good - ordered the Rigatoni which was splendid.FYI the Frutti De Mare we thought would be Calamari (hot dish) was actually a salad! Silly me. Will be back again to try more
We had a lovely dinner here. I've frequented their midtown location many times and this location once 2 years ago. Overall, they've improved on service and pasta portions are bigger. We sat outside in their enclosed patio which was just as warm as inside. The ambience was warm and cozy. Food was delicious, their chilli oil is spicy and I love putting it on pizza. Everyone working there was friendly and our server was great.
Great atmosphere with lovely old Italian music playing while old movies are projected on the wall. Beautiful interior and photos on the wall. Excellent place for a date. Service was excellent. Whether it was our main waiter or everyone else that brought us drinks, food, etc., everyone was professional, nice and super chill. As for the food, we got the La Vecchia pizza and the seafood linguine. The pizza was delicious but looked very plain. Reminded me of the Diavola from Pizzeria Libretto but PL's looks beautiful. The seafood linguini was delicious as well, although several of the shells were unopened and weren't able to be eaten at all so that was a bit of a waste. Overall, had a great time, the service is solid, the food is solid, atmosphere is fantastic ?
What a great party atmosphere there last night. Despite being quite busy, the service was excellent. The food is good and reasonably priced. The octopus appetizer was tender and delicious. The lamb shank was very tasty but just a tiny bit dry. The mushroom risotto was rich and delicious. We were considering sharing another appetizer or dessert but along with the bread and a bottle of wine we were quite full. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items, especially on a warmer day with that spectacular view of the city skyline.
This is a nice place, so why 3 stars?,Yesterday was my girlfriend's birthday and we made a reservation because she loves the pizza and pasta of this place and we live so close.The food was ok but not like before (maybe they change the chef or was the busy night) and we had an issue with the service:After we take a sit it takes 25 minutes just to offer us water. To take the order and bring the food ufff...... long time my friends to be exact we arrived at 9 and we received our pasta at 10:26, and the sadness part.... no cake or dessert last call kitchen is 10:45.....But don't miss understand me, the waitress was so nice but he was running for all the place.Its not the firts time that happened to us.My advice if you want to enjoy the place and try the food go on a Wednesday at 7pm
Ty was a great server. He explained everything on the menu to us. Food is tasty as well but you have to choose wisely, read the descriptions first and you sure will love it. Great architecture and ambience. We sat inside the heated patio and it was absolutely an amazing experience.
We were served by Rory tonight. He was so welcoming, with great customer service. The appetizer had a unique taste(eggplant). Our pizza was great I really liked the special spicy chilli sauce. However, for the lamb chops was pricey. Overall I do recommend this place. And thank you Rory for your great service.
Great location, very nice fittings, lovely ambience, and their service staff and management are just amazing and made our visit memorable. However, the food isn’t necessarily the best in terms of quality nor taste. For the price you pay there are many better options with much higher food quality and some literally around the corner. Wouldn’t mind going here again, but perhaps only for coffee or a drink.
