Ordered Kibo Sushi thru DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised.Always ordered from my local sushi restaurant and decided to try something new.
The Kibo sushi restaurant recently opened and is about to take South Etobicoke by storm!The ingredients they used are premium, the size of their sushi/sashimi etc is humongous and cherry on top they charge fairly.I can't really talk about their customer service yet as I've only ordered at home but the experience has been great so far.
The food was amazing. There was one error in our order and luckily I don't live far from the restaurant for them to correct it. Would order again. Found my new sushi place in the hood.
I was so excited for Kibo sushi to be in my area! I think it’s one of the more affordable places with great quality of sushi. Staff is super friendly and nice. It’s been my go to since they opened up in the area! They have a variety of rolls and good sushi/sashimi combos that are my favourite. Thanks for opening up in the area!
What a VERY PLEASANT experience! A few of my co-workers and I were excited to see Kibo move to our area, and today I finally tried them out for their "Cash And Carry" $5 special that is currently on (December 2021).What first struck me was how nice and accommodating the staff were with answering my menu questions, as well as how kind and welcoming they were. Made me feel appreciated as a customer.Secondly, my order with this special (plus an extra Miso soup) only came to $12.50 - And that was for the soup PLUS the 6 fresh and delicious pieces of Spicy salmon roll and 6 PC's of Chicken Gyoza. Yummy!!Thoroughly impressed with not only how fresh the food was, but with the presentation and care that was put into it. And it was all made fresh within 10 minutes. Amazing!I will definitely be back... At least twice a week! I love you, Kibo Sushi on Dundas!
AMAZING! Friendliest service, you can tell they care about your experience. Signature rolls are HUGE! Quality and portion of sushi is very impressive. They opened in the middle of a pandemic and their positive demeanour is everything
I am trying to be fair. Last week we ordered from this location because I love the Kibo by Queen and Jones. It wasn’t all bad but I wouldn’t order from here again. The roll and edamame were good. The portion size was good but the beef was bad. My son was sick the next day. We all didn’t finish it because it smelled off. Honestly not sure why restaurants think it’s okay to sell old food- meat? You don’t get repeat customers that way. I was very disappointed and will not be returning.
The meal was good from here, the service was great. Staff were friendly, place looked clean. We did a takeout of one of the daily specials and yam tempura.
Great service and great portions. We love everything we had from this location and this was our second time ordering. Great place and I would recommend it to anyone. Rolls are perfect size and they taste great. Sashimi portions are biggest I have seen so far in all sushi restaurants. I will definitely order again and recommend. Thanks to all the staff that works there..
Very fresh and well packaged and the flavour was great but the rice used for the sushi was extremely overcooked and mushy almost like congee. It is my first time ordering and this was a new location so I will give it another chance.
