Ordered a bunch of Maki last night. Presentation was sloppy, rice tasted old and overall the food just felt thrown together without any care. Taste wise everything was bland, or over “sauced”. Avoid this place. Crap food. Waste of 70 dollars.

We used to go to Sushi on Bloor for years and loved it. When pandemic started we wanted to find something closer to home so we found Kibo on Lake shore and liked it a lot! So we've been going to that location for two years every second Friday.Unfortunately, like other people mentioned, in the last few months things changed. First the quality and the taste of rice went down, then the overall quality of sushi became worse, the size of sashimi reduced considerably as well. The last drop was last Friday, I've ordered a super roll Black Dragon which is 15 $ but received only half of it ?It's very unfortunate that we have to look for another sushi spot now!

Disappointed. Firstly, this location REFUSED to take my American Express card. They lied and said their machine is not compatible but that is not true. Recommend to visit another Kibo, they should be embarassed to be affiliated. The tarnished my love for this brand. Each sashimi slice is the size of a quarter. Thats basically one sashimi slice cut into three pieces. Other locations are not like this. They placed the salmon pizza in the middle sashimi plater. That just increases the chance of foodbourne illness within the sashimi.- Dis-honest- Not-worth the visit.- The food is not yummy.

Our family used to love this place and would only order from here whenever we craved sushi, but tonight we were so so disappointed and put off… We ordered two party platters and one sashimi-only dish. For the sushi, it was so obvious that they tried to hide a RIDICULOUS amount of rice under the THINNEST slice of sashimi… The sashimi was also so much smaller and thinner than it used to be, I was sorry to have paid for it. One of my pictures show 2 of the salmon sashimi pieces next to a maki piece for size comparison. One thing we did appreciate was being given lots of wasabi and ginger. We ended up throwing out most of the rice out and having a bad meal in general. Have been a long time customer and used to absolutely love their fresh and thick sashimi, but I don’t think I’ll order from them again.

For a chain of Sushi restaurants, Kibo actually offers great tasting, fresh sushi you'd come to expect for an established dine-in Sushi place. I often get their cash and carry Spicy Salmon and Spicy Tuna, because it helps satisfy every craving! Sometimes I try butterfish and other rolls too! It isn't expensive but value for money. Absolutely recommend!

Fresh and delicious sushi at a great price. We especially like the platters which are colourful, well put together and offer great value. Service is relatively fast. Thank you!

Very bad customer service. My sushi was all broken. I took it back to them. At first they weren't believing me but after inspecting, they saw that it was all broken from underneath. He was like I will give you a fork so you can eat it with that instead of chopsticks. What kind of a sushi place does that. His reasoning was that it's going to be broken regardless, so just eat it with a fork. Such a pathetic customer service. Won't be ever going back to this place. It wasn't worthit at all.

Generally always satisfied with Kibo sushi; quality fresh sushi at reasonable prices. The platter below for 2 was just $42.

Amazing sushi experience. Sushi craving was satisfied! Definitely go again. I highly recommend. I didn't know it wasn't a sit down restaurant. So, be prepared to stand waiting if you get a few orders.

Excellent customer service, food is always fresh. Always order from here when I’m in the area
