Today ordered chicken dum biryani for a 10 peoples gathering at our home. It was sumptuous and delicious . All the guests enjoyed it and it was made just right with proper ingredients and spice. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided some extra sweet dish to go with our order. Highly recommend for good quality Indian food and good service.

Came in for a quick bite to eat.Grabbed 2 vegetarian samosas. Delicious.Very aromatic. Cooked fresh.Perhaps a weekend lunch for one special would be something to consider.

I really enjoy Indian food, especially their staple dishes like butter chicken and palak paneer. I'm new to the area, so I thought to give this place a try - I ordered butter chicken. A little over $14 for a "regular" size, which turned out to be quite small for the price. I'm not sure if it was freshly made - I heard the microwave being used as I waited for my food. Overall, the taste wasn't bad, and my sense was it is quite authentic. The butter sauce was a bit runny, but didn't ruin the dish. I'd think twice before going back because the price doesn't match what you pay for.

So happy to finally have a restaurant offering authentic South Indian flavours in the neighbourhood! Reasonable prices, generous portions, fresh food, and friendly & helpful staff. Their biryanis are great, but you must also try their guthi vankaya eggplant! Can't go wrong with their chili chicken (pictured top), Andhra chicken curry, or any dishes with monagadi sauce (paneer is an excellent option). Just tried the egg pulusu (pictured bottom left). Never seen this dish before but will certainly consider ordering it again — very flavourful! For those who are sensitive to heat, you might want to have some raita on the side. I consider myself to have a medium spice tolerance and so far everything I've ordered has been prepared with the perfect amount of heat for me. Love this place and hope to keep coming back! Definitely recommend.

I enjoy the personal customer service and kind attention from the staff at Hyderabad Spices. Have bought the Chicken Dum Biryani for two parties and the guests have enjoyed the food! Extremely reasonably priced and good quantity. Ordered the jumbo and perfect mix of rice and chicken. Enjoyed the taste of the raita too!

The butter naan was amazing, probably the best I've had in Toronto. It was very fluffy and soft. I regretted not getting more than 1. The palak paneer was very creamy and flavourful, and the paneer was cooked in the sauce so it was marinated properly.

Biriyani was mediocre sadly. Had good expectations. Chicken bone pieces had very less flesh and that hindered the experience. There was a need for more rice in terms of quantity. For the price we think quantity should have been better in general. This is the family size we are talking about but was kind of disappointed.

We order few curries and biryani nothing was disappointed taste was authentic. We will definitely go again. Thanks

Thank you guys for making delicious food. I mostly loved Chicken Dum Biryani, Chicken 65 and Momo here. I am now your loyal customer. Keep up the good work.

How can they sell rotten biryani?? I ordered a small tray of Chicken Biryani to go for next day, I picked up around noon and by the time we had our dinner, It's already rotten and smelly. I called the next day and spoke with owner and he never even apologize and told me I can order from some one else. I will give ZERO Stars and DEFINITELY not recommend to ANYONE. Please stay away and stay safe.
