What a wonderful little restaurant. The atmosphere is so calming, the couple working were just the loveliest people but the food!!! So fresh and flavourful. The portions just perfect. And so reasonably priced. The only thing I didn't like, was that they served the pop in a can. It took away from how good this place is. But that's just a minor thing and can be forgiven based on their food. I can't even begin to express how awesome Hina Sushi is. If you haven't been here, you are so missing out
I live in the area and have tried all sushi restaurants within the neighborhood; this restaurant is by-far one of the best (if not the best). A hidden gem. Great quality down to its soy sauce made for sushi. It all comes down to their sushi rice's texture and taste. Portions is great for the price (well worth the price). In-door dining just opened last week.Their lunch special is even better for the price !
Surprise on the taste, food and menu choices, ordered dinner Kalbi sweet side and good taste with vegetables in hot plate. With rice and Miso. Got Dragon Roll good size, nice roll and crispy taste just made. Gyoza are good saucy taste of good beef. Kalbi is just great not dry or leathery. Staff did good service. Good choices of drinks. Place is good size, can have a long table for 10 people. Menu arr in good portion and prices are at par with servings. I believe a family business and they have loyal customers. Queensway and Royal York Etobicoke.
Had a Donkatsu Lunch today. Great service and the restaurant's interior wasn't too bad. The lunch special took them really relatively short time to put on my table.The Donkatsu itself was a bit on the dry side, but the portion was alright! Would love to switch the veggies with tempora or maki… The vinegar and sauce on the veggies didn't work that well in my humble opinion. Might dine in sometime in the future to try out their sushii
41 piece boat for dinner. Great lunch specials too from $12-16 that include miso soups! Fresh tasting and good quality!
For sushi that is requested with no fish of any sort there was a taste of fish in everything I at and a piece of fish addedI have had sushi at other places when you state no fish the sushi will not taste or smell like itThe sushi itself did not taste good at allI would recommend going somewhere else
Ordered twice from Hina and it was great. We ordered the Sushi Pizza and Salmon Lover. Highly recommend. 4.5 stars
Wow, I just had the chicken Katsu, it's soooo good. Everything they make looked so pretty. And they're generous with portions. Even their salad was good quality spring mix and their miso soup was so good. I'm usually disappointed in most sushi places but this place is quality. Definitely coming back.
