Best Somali Restaurant in all of Toronto. Been coming here since I was kid. I live in America now and come stop by. The portions are massive, goat meat is perfect! Fav place to get a good East African meal.
Went back yesterday for there famous goat plate. So tender and tasty, you barely need to use a fork or spoon to break the meat. Amazing quality. Love the veggies that compliment it and the spicy dressing they give on the side. If your not a fan of spice I would not recommend it as it is strong. But I love it! It balances the mild tasty rice you get with it. Washed the food down with some Vinto drink. Very tasty refreshing and cold on a hot day!A big shout to the staff Abdishukur and Hamda. Very knowledge about there items on the menu. Very customer service friendly and had the biggest welcoming smiles around. The restaraunt is spacious and it's a great environment to bring your friends and family to if your a fan of some quality food and even better customer service! The quality of food has been top notch and its consistent - read my previous review about a month ago below. Big portions of meat. The rice had an amazing flavor too. I love the sourness of the sauce they give with it. Get some veggies on the side as well. The meat hardly needs any effort to come off. Very tasty and tender. Overall - the food was incredible and my friend was right referring me here.Oh, and the mango drink is very refreshing too! So sweet!

Great service and very good portion of food. I had goat shoulder and beef stew. My friend recommended drumsticks but they were out. What I took was a meal for 2 and it came with salad, soup and 2 drinks of your choice; all that for 30.00$ Great price and portion is wow!
Exceptional food, large portions and very flavourful. The mango juice is also very good.I love the service, they always have a great attitude and are happy to help.
I don’t usually give reviews but l had to for this one…l am from Hamilton and my partner and l just went to this restaurant for the 1st time after a long day in Wonderland and the food is so nice and the customer service was amazing (just what we needed) The guy welcomed us and helped us choose what to eat as we were undecided and he was very patient. Then when getting our food they gave us 2 free drinks? The Roasted Goat and Beef rib is so good oh my!!!! We eating right now as we type lol..I definitely recommend this place to anyone. We will be back??
Amazing halal food, at incredibly low prices. Must thank them for their hard work and succulent roasted goat and steak and chicken and rice yummy yummy. Everything and everybody there is amazing, thank you so much and love you all, see you soon, even if I have to travel another 400km again.
The best food in whole GTA, so delicious esp roasted goat and flat tenderloin, we have been going to this place from last so many years maintained same taste, best thing is it comes with lentil soup and juice and price is so so reasonable, keep it up
One of the first restaurants I've been to in Canada and one of the restaurants that I still go back to, again and again, for 15+ years now.This is our family favourite. This Somali restaurant has the juiciest and most tender goat meat, the best steak and their chicken is never dry. We always love getting their mango juice as well. Their beef stews are a staple as well.Restaurant has been renovated over time, since the time I've been visiting. The food is always fresh and always tastes amazing.Pretty much everything is amazing. Family platters are a great portion. I recommend placing the order directly with the restaurant as I've had it happen twice where my order was messed up when I ordered on über eats.
