Place opened an hour late than when I finally did get in they didn't even have soup. Didn't stick around to find out what else they lack. Had the rice n peas before the rice was uncooked. Not the 1st time either. Surely the last. Don't waste time. Go a few blocks down to Michael's...( side note they don't have soup tho) but everything else including the service is better over there.
The food tastes amazing just like back home.My search for good Jamaican food is over...the meat is tenderly cooked and delicious..try it.
Love the food but they are ridiculous with the service. I ordered online and waited over an hour (after 3 drivers went there) for them to call me and tell me they don’t have something in my order and that they just received my order. 12 minutes after that call (now) the driver is still waiting there. Update: my food arrived 1hr and 37 mins after order with an estimated wait of 15-25 mins with priority delivery. Not acceptable at all.
Hands down the best Jamaican food served here. My personal favorite; Cowfoot and Rice
Was very excited to try this place because of the reviews. However had a very bad experience. Food had a very strong rotten/expired smell to it and it turned me off completely. Went back with one of the meals to at least get a new one or a refund, Lady at the restaurant was rude and disrespectful. Never going to this place again, decent business owners apologize for the inconvenience, but i guess they did not get the memo. Not worth it !!

Great Caribbean restaurant! We have tried several of their dishes - fried chicken, ox tail stew, curried shrimp, and their rice- and they were all delicious. At Golden Cook Carribean, you will get tasty food within ten minutes and for a good price!
