Ordered via Uber Eats for the first time: did a pre-order and the items arrived within the set time frame.Everything was perfect temperature, delicious flavours, very fresh and high quality. Only the spring rolls were missing from this order (I did place a large order for 9 people), but I called the restaurant and they took care of the matter with care.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality Asian cuisine (looking for Chinese style specialties). Thanks for a delicious dinner!
Small mom and pop shop. Wide selection and everything was really delicious!!! Not to mention affordable. They give great portions (we got noodles and sushi) and they were so friendly as well!! Definitely recommend
First time ordering from here, I thought I'd give it a try since the google reviews weren't too bad. However I was really disappointed with their food. I eat sushi a few times a week and I have to say this is the worst I've ever had. I went with a safe option (california roll) just to test it out and it just tasted off, as if there was sour cream in it or something. Everything had a weird taste to it, I wouldn't recommend going here.
I used to be a customer of this place a few years ago but somehow due to covid i totally forgot about Gohyang. Today I've ordered through UberEats. I chose my regular: Crispy Calamari in five spice, Salt&pepper shrimp, Vegetable Fried Rice and new to me Gai Bao (steamed chicken buns). Everything tastes excellent. I suggest eat the buns with soy sauce. Thank you!!
Excellent food, very tasty and great variety. Love the number and flavors in their vegan and vegetarian options. Will absolutely order again. Great quantity for the prices as well.
By far the best of the best! My husband and I literally drive 45 minutes from out of the city to come here. It tastes absolutely amazing, is made with so much love, and we always feel great after.Honestly you could probably try anything and it would be the best version of that thing - but we like to get the lo mein, ginger beef, salt and pepper shrimps and general lius cauliflower.You guys are the best! Thank you!!
the best sushi in the GTA! This is a family owned business and they put so much love and care into every meal. The fish is always so fresh and the quality is incredible. If you’re looking for a new sushi spot, highly recommend!
The reason for this 2 star review is the customer service. I place an order online through the website for pickup, and got an email saying it would be ready in 35 min. I got there 45 minutes after the order was placed and was told they needed an extra 15 minutes.After expressing that it was already 10 minutes later than the indicated pickup time, the guy at the cashier said “This is the current landscape of the industry”.Now I have no problem waiting an allotted amount of time for my food as long as I’m told in advance and not made to wait in a small area with 7 other customers. It’s a waste of my time. I told the cashier that, to which he responded “Do you not want your food then?”.In the end I got my food 70 minutes after the order was placed, which is twice as long as I was told it would take.The food was good, but customer service is very important. Will not be going back.
My go to Asian restaurant in the area. 9 times out of 10 I have ordered “The Canton” and it never fails to hit the spot. The Canton is seafood, beef, chicken, and veggies beautifully marinated on a bed of medium sized noodles.For anything that I order from Gohyang, I find that the ingredients are quality, the portions generous, the meal both tasty and healthy, and the price competitive. Definitely recommend this spot.
UberEats my order the other day... The Love Boat is our favorite boat menu item. Also the takoyakki is my girlfriend's favourite... not for me though. We can't wait until when they allow you to sit inside again. ❤❤❤❤❤
