Came here late night after a night event. We were seated quickly. The server was very polite and helped us out for suggestions. We ended grabbing the-BBQ steak poutine-Passionate & Fruitful (opted for Milk chocolate drizzle)Definitely recommend both dishes. I will be back to try out their Chipotle chicken poutine next.
One word… WOW! My first time at D Spot, but definitely not the last. I had the ‘Thank You Berry Much’ and my friend tried the ‘You Better Bruleeve It!’. Both were absolutely FANTASTIC! The portions were impressive, and the service was great. They have a massive selection of desserts, and I’m sure they all taste just as amazing as the dish I had. D Spot is the best dessert cafe I’ve been to in a very long time. A must-try!
Excellent dessert spot, amazing presentation and taste. The only reason giving 4 stars is because of the service. The girl took my order and forgot to punch in and I had to wait additional 40 minutes to get my dessert. There is a lot of room to improve in terms of service. The owner should take it very seriously as the only guy who is running the business is the one who is making the items otherwise the serving team is totally a disappointment. Hope to see a change next time.
The dessert was delicious. Ordered a Chocolate Lava cake. Presentation could have been better.Service was a bit slow. Looks like all the servers were having a discussion among them near the cashier.
Really enjoy desserts from this place. Everything I've had so far is great from the cakes, crepes, waffles, and even their milkshakes!Got so many favorites here but for starters, try the lotus milkshake but ask for a chocolate ice cream substitute!
Great dessert cafe. The interior is very playful with creative colourful decorations and even chocolate fountains. The staff was quick and professional. The menu offers a variety of different drinks and dessert items, they also have pizza, hotdogs and burgers. Personally I got the strawberrys+cream cheese on a waffle which was very tasty. Highly recommended
Ordered a tiramisu slice for take out and after taking the first bite, realised that it tasted off and sour and not like it usually does. I called the store the next day to let them know about it and Priyanka, who picked up the phone, offered another slice on the house. I was really surprised and loved their customer service. I’ve been to this location several times and their food is always delicious but their customer service proved to be exemplary! I will definitely be coming back here to satisfy any late night sweet cravings
Talking about variety of desserts, D Spot’s menu is extensive, and also offers food like pizza, nachos, poutine, etc.One of the restaurant that really checked your proof of vaccination, in my opinion. Great Job!! We went on a Tuesday night, and it is full. The service is really good here.We got:- Hidden Gem: Chocolate lava cake wrapped in a crepe topped with strawberries, banana, Oreo pieces. Belgian milk and white chocolate with a side of vanilla ice cream.- Heaven on Earth: Chocolate brownie ice cream topped with brownies, Oreo pieces, Belgian white chocolate, milk chocolate Callets and Belgian milk chocolate.- Royalty (crepe): Topped with Ferrero richer, hazelnuts and Nutella drizzle. Served with a side of vanilla ice cream.A great spot to hangout with friends, but it get super loud.
Ambiance: Definitely a great spot for all sort of meetups. I always bring all of my out of the city visitors here.This has been my go to spot for years. Overall always satisfied.Food: If you enjoy sweets, this is the place for you! There is everything from cookies, cakes, waffles, crepes and ice cream. They have a variety of different drinks. Over the years I've tried multiple items and the quality is always great. The portions are large when it comes to waffles.Savory: I personally come here for the savory options. I have tried hot dogs and all the different poutine options. The fries are delicious and crispy, the only issue is sometimes the cheese curds are too cold and the gravy isnt warm enough to melt them.Service: I've always enjoyed the warm welcome of the staff. The owner himself is were pleasant!
