We love coming to Buon Giorno for lunch!!! Best eggplant sandwiches in the city. We drive from Sarnia to get our fix of spectacular southern Italian cuisine. We even get extra to enjoy the next day. It's Etobicoke's hidden gem.
Tried this place for the first time today after seeing all the positive reviews on here. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches ($15 each w tax)In my mind the only way you could justify charging that much for a sandwich is if its by far the best in the city. It was awful. Chicken was dry and tasteless, bread was soaking wet and the toppings all basic and gross, sauce is bad, left awful taste in my mouth. Only ended up eating half & left what was leftover at the front door. I don’t know what everyone else is experiencing maybe they haven’t been to other similar italian bakerys and what not across the city but this is no where near 5 stars. Didn’t try anything else but did see their pizza slices that looked burnt and covered with a napkin and their pasta and soup which looked literally disgusting. In my opinion should be ashamed charging what they do but is what it is, if getting away with it all the power to you. Go to san remo which is also expensive but at least you are getting decent quality. Also might want to clean your debit machine was filled with gunk on every key.
Great food and service, family run and they make you feel right at home with massive portions of fresh food.

This is it. You found my Italian food place. Selection is amazing. I come here very often. Veal Parm eggplant chicken lasagna rapini cold cut sandwiches pasta soups sausage roast pork etc etc Joe and staff friendly and fun. Espresso to end your meal. Enough said.
