Undercooked chicken and made me sick. Had trouble breathing after 10 minutes and clearly not ventilated. Rats infest the place. The lady cooking was clearly on something. Stinks of pot around the place
Amazing ribs and macaroni salad
Tried this for the first time last night! It was bomb!!
Decided to try out this place 3 mins from home since I had a craving for BBQ.I got the Ribs and Chicken Combo, which came with all this food. The ribs and chicken was pretty tender and very delicious. I got the medium sauce, but there wasn't much heat to it, I'll probably get the hot next time.I ordered the collard greens, but they had run out for the day already at 5pm.The server forgot to give me my sides (macaroni salad and cornbread), since he said that the combo came with rice and cornbread. I would have given this place 5 stars for the food, but I'll take a star away since they forgot my sides. I'll come back again since I did enjoy the food, but I'll check and make sure that I have everything before I leave next time.
Legitimately amazing meats. I was driven to a very nice homely comfort feel. The sauce was sticky and very gently charred, you know the real seal of homely and delicious. So many textures it is a gem. Definitely would recommend.
Good portion size, tasty BBQ sauce. Red Potato salad was delicious but I made a big mistake not buying more delish cornbread!

The Ribs easily came off the bone with very little use of cutlery. The Chicken was really good. The side dishes of peas and rice, with cornbread complimented the main dish very well. Everything was savouring. I’ll definitely be ordering again and recommending this BBQ joint to my people and all food lovers.

I don't know what the some of the other reviewers were smoking when they wrote their reviews (#I'mcanadianandallIknowhowtodoisbitch). True: entrance a little weird on side of ally. False: that the food, value, and portion was bad! Complete opposite my friends. For $20 you get two large pieces of chicken and two large ribs along with rice, peas, two sides and a cornbread. I don't know where you're eating - but in this city - last time I ordered, it's $20 to get a burger and fries at Harvey's - this was a hell of a lot more food, not processed, and super tasty! Food was fantastic, made to order, and great value. Service was great. There is no doubt I'll be back! Word to the owner - don't let the hipsters and millennials get you down.
