Food is fine, wait time for food is unacceptable though. Why do the floors of the shop need to be cleaned while customers are waiting??? That staff could be taking/packing orders, especially on a Saturday night. Also, they should have their digital menu boards in working order. Last two times I've been, they are not working. How are we to know what the prices are??? Make sure you get a receipt btw.

Absolutely terrible service. Me and my family arrived here to break our fast tonight. Tables were dirty and had to call to clean and even then, it was cleaned. We went on to our for thali, I was told to wait 5 minutes and ended up waiting 15 minutes. Girls were extremely slow workers. Family we were served, the lady tonight was horrible and had attitude. She was so slow and unprofessional. She kept going to the back and laughing away with the cook behind. She didn't know what the veggie meatballs were made off. She told me that we will have to wait even longer for naan. The food looked really cold and untouched!!! She went on to fill in the first thali when she realized she had no salad either and that she was going to make some for us. We expect that if it is a thali plate, food should be ready to be served. On top of this, she had the audacity to want to stop serving me in the middle so she can seeve another customer from before which she hadnt fulfilled her job properly. I DID NOT continue with the order, I left immediately. I'm absolutely disgusted with the service and the unprofessionalism. Bengal Sweets really need to fix their customers service immediately. We came in empty stomach and left empty stomach after 20 minutes and we were fasting. We will not be returning!

we usually get regular sized samosas, jalebi, and mithai from here so my review will be based on that. their samosas are much better now compared to years ago when they were very oily. I like them now. love their gulab jamun but I wish the packaging for it would be better because the syrup always leaks out into the bags and it gets sticky everywhere. hopefully you find a solution for that. the location is in a very convenient south asian groceries area so that's helpful, can find everything in one spot. thanks for your service.

I'v order pav bhaji . Bread was not so good . Most of the times their food is good and value for money but the owner must hire responsible employees

I have ordered a lot from Bengali Sweets & Restaurant situated in Scarborough and have loved their food. I went to this Etobicoke shop. No doubt their prices are reasonable, food is not too spicy and oily. However, I didn't like the taste of the food I ordered here. Samosas were really good, Kadhi tasted more like red chilli. Veg biryani was okay and mattar paneer tasted very artificial. I think there snacks and sweets are good but not their curries.

Sweet prices are reasonable compare to other similar stores. Their Shandash, rash golla, gajor halwa, milk cake are the good ones.Other sweet items need improvement.Samosas also good too,but can be better.Overall good place for Indian style food and sweets.

Just went there in my break .. 15-20 min wait for thali .//ordered veggie thali..found big hair in shahi paneer. I called them and complained they offered me free thali next time. I don’t want free food. I want clean food. No one wearing hair net at the restaurant … quantity over qualityFood tastes bad. only gajrela and roti was good

Totally garbage food ! Order 2 veg Thali on uber end up getting smelling veggies and bad taste completely against humanity. Chappatis hard like rock .

Daal is old and tastes sour because its old.

The food wasn't hot even when I asked for it to be heated. The samosa tasted liked they'd been refried multiple times. And they didn't give me any chutney.
