The staff was a little hard to get the attention of. I was glad once I did. I found the front of house staff friendly . The burger , deliciously smothered with fried onions was slow to get to the table, but well worth the wait. Cooked to order, hey takes time. This burger was overflowing with flavours and textures. Impossible to eat neatly with our hands I went for it anyways and made a mess. Which is a part of the experience when eating this type of food. Wonderful indeed.
This iconic old school burger joint might just make best burgers in the city. Hasn’t changed in 20 years, and the quality still holds up! All their burgers are stellar and prices aren’t ridiculous like other ‘gourmet’ burger spots. The fries are great, but the poutine gravy isn’t my favourite, still decent. Always friendly service, but remember it’s cash only!
I used to go to Apache Burger, like 20 years or so ago. Went back recently and I’m so mad at me for not going there in such a long time. Their burgers are the best in town, hands down! They only take cash, which is understandable when you see their reasonable prices. Usually there’s a long line but they are super fast and efficient. Also super friendly. Quality of their food and the toppings are great. The buns they use are good too, not those foamy buns you get in other places. I can’t have burger anywhere else again and why would I?
Always good, nice atmosphere, service and good tasty burgers, fries, rings, and the other dishes they serve. The sizes are getting smaller but they are trying their best to keep the prices down despite the justinflation we have.Cash onlyFree parkingATMNo fancy $20 burgers!!!!
An old school burger joint with good sized burgers, chunky and tasety onion rings, and amazing shakes. They don't accept credit cards but the lady in front was very polite and accomodating. It was a great experience.
Good burger. Not the best, but good. Beef has a distinct and charcoal taste to it, which is great if you like that style of burger. Best way to describe Apache is like a high end harvey's burger with a charcoal taste to the meat. I say that as a compliment rather than a negative.
We suggest going after 9pm. The line up and people waiting inside was way past Capacity. We ordered double cheese bacon burgers with the best onion rings I ever tasted. The only complaint is they use processed cheese. Other than that the charbroiled burgers are delicious. They only accept CASH. Wish I had known before I went.
This is a very good burger joint. A real classic location for westenders.I have a feeling it’s not a consistent experience though. My first time here the burger was amazing. A true top tier sandwich. But my second time was mediocre, So I’ve reflected that in my rating.I will go back for sure and I look forward to changing my rating.
Don’t know what all the hype is about. I guess it’s one of those spots that you had to grow up with. I’ve tried it a few times now and I’ve found it pretty underwhelming every time.I had the Apache burger the other day and the only thing I could taste was the melted processed cheese. It tasted like a microwaved craft single. And every time I’ve gone my fries have been under cooked too. I’m not saying it’s “bad,” but it’s definitely not good enough to justify charging 20 bucks for an Apache burger combo lol. It’s a pretty standard hamburger.
Rock Solid Classic!Everyone has a favourite burger joint and this is an unpretentious tried and true choice in the west end that’s one of my favourites. There’s a nostalgic component being from Etobicoke and I have childhood memories of the early days when muscle cars and HOG motorcycles were parked out from on display.
