Absolutely worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. The lady at the cash was rude and pushy. I asked if I was able to have a specific sandwich but leave some condiments and vegetables off and she told me “no, that would be a waste of money”. It’s my money, and I am paying for a sandwich. I will never return to this location. I also left without buying food. Waste of a trip.

I come here often and my order always get messed up unless it’s 1 certain employe that takes my order I specifically ask for only chicken and cheese with sauce on the side it’s a very simple request and this is what I get I got home had 2 bites and threw my 13 dollar sandwich away because this is not what I asked for to the woman who actually gets my order correct thank you

I like the food here. The restaurant has been around Toronto for decades with a few locations. I generally take out from a newer location on Laird AveThe menu has changed recently, but not for the worse. The veg toppings on the warm sandwiches appear to be prepared on site. You can watch the huge pan cooking onions. Unusual for a fast food shop where the ingredients are often hidden out of sight. The sauce is consistent. Tangy with a touch of heat/spice.Buns, not baked on site are always fresh.I have tried only 3 of the sandwiches offered. All of them were meat offerings. All very tasty. There is a veggie eggplant sandwich. Not badly priced. $.

Classic veal sandwich. Young lady was all by herself but did her very best to be quick. Since she communicated that it would be a bit of a wait for our order, I did not mind. Appreciated her telling customers instead of just making people wait.

This location is not on par with other franchises. Veal is over cooked and tough. I ordered a baby veal and rather than it being served on a smaller bun they had obviously cut off the edges of a large bun that was stale, in a funny rectangular shape. Veal and mushrooms in very small quantity even for a baby size. I’ve never been served a Sandwich configured like that before at any San Fran location in over forty years. Take a pass on this location. San Francesco head office should check this franchisee out. They’re deviating from your formula/recipe.

Original location...sandwiches are hearty...Chicken sandwich with provolone cheese and sauce was very good. Prices are so good...it would be triple at other restaurants.

There was easily enough sauce for 5 sandwhiches slathered on. It was everywhere and ruined the meal. I tried one bite and tossed the rest in the trash. Waste of money. I wish I had read the reviews prior.

For those with big appetites, San Francesco Sandwiches should be enough to fill any hungry belly. These sandwiches are similar in size and quality to California Sandwiches except California Sandwiches is slightly larger. Sandwiches are delicious. I ordered the veal with mild tomato sauce, sweet peppers, onions and mushrooms. Ingredients were fresh but eating it is a messy affair. Very satisfied.

When you want a classic Italian-American sandwich- veal, chicken, steak, meatball this is the place. Inexpensive, big portions and tasty ofcourse.

Would not recommend. I had the chicken sandwich and it was not good at all.
