Number One Chinese Restaurant is our favourite Chinese takeout comfort food. The family who own the restaurant and incredibly nice.Sweat & Sour Chicken Balls and Lemon Chicken have a really amazing batter with high-quality meat inside. Cantonese Sweet & Sour Pork rocks.The Chow Mein and Egg Rolls also slap.
The staff was very friendly. I ordered on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (yes they were opened!!). Food was great and staff was professional. I highly recommend the chicken balls and lemon chicken.
Best chop suey, wing damn every ting on the menu is damn good ... was introduced to this place by my partner and this our go to spot for Chinese food!!! Thanks Char!!
Delicious! Found this place randomly on Uber eats and was so pleasantly surprised. Spring rolls were incredible, honey garlic wings were so good. Ordered two orders of the Number One Special pan fried noodles and the portions were HUGE, definitely only needed 1 for the two of us - but was not mad about left overs.
Just ordered for the first time and got general tso chicken and lemon chicken with fried rice along with a wonton soup!Very impressed with taste and flavors will be ordering again !
Food is really good from here and it’s easy to order online. Good selection of different food as well. Always consistent as well, I’ve never had a bad dish and the ones that I order are consistently good which I find is hard to find amount Chinese restaurants.
there's not many chinese options in the danforth and pape area and this one here gotta be honest has that chinese taste and texture you're looking for as chinese food fan. used to get the veggies fried rice, great staff, now go for the always good beef fried rice,,,,
I moved to the area 4 months ago, I have been looking for good Chinese food. This is the 4th restaurant I tried (I wont mention the others) and it was by far the best!! They followed all my instructions (I am a little picky) and the food was good quality, good portions, and they have great combos.

I read the reviews for this resteraunt and thought let’s give it a try. Ordered crispy ginger beef and it was so undercooked. I could taste the uncooked flour in every bite!!! Disgusting! I picked one or two good pieces and threw the rest out! The fried rice was average too. Never again…
