This isn’t about the product. The product is great. This is about what I experienced on Mammas special day. First of all, having one person open and run a 5 dollar medium special that is PICKUP OR WALK IN alone is absolute madness. Then to top it all off there was no way to make change. The til was empty. From 11 am the phone wouldn’t stop ringing and then online orders flowing in, one man can’t make 30 pizzas an hour. It’s not possible. Dude deserves a much needed raise and an apology for having to tackle this solo
I ordered my pizza at 6:27pm. It arrived 2 hours later at 8:35. I called multiple times to find out where my food was, and was told each time it was “on the way”… I should have just cancelled my order. Nobody ever apologized for the inconvenience on the phone.
The owner has only hired a single worker waited over an hour and a half for pizza that they did not have the ingredients for and could not make.Corporate should take a look at this location
New to the area, and our go to has always been Mamma’s so naturally we would give our business to tested and true. That was the mistake, this stores standards were set far lower than Eglinton West location. Ordered combination pizza which was over cooked, and actually had char on it. The medium cheese pizza was not made fresh, very obviously reheated and sent to us. Tasted of cardboard and was slightly warmer than room temperature. This was the owners choice to do this, so I’m not going to bother calling. He lost all future business from us, and I wouldn’t take anything free from them. What a way to violate one’s trust.Will be reaching out to their head office on Monday to lodge a formal complaint.
Amazing pizza and friendly worker. Nash treats customers very nice every day.
I had a slice of the pizza al pollo (marinated chicken, roasted red peppers, red onions, garlic and oregano) and was very pleasantly surprised. It was flavorful and the crust was perfect. Aside from having a wide variety of meat pizzas, they also have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. I will definitely be back to try more if not all of them.
If I could give this restaurant fewer stars…I would. They were very rude on the phone. We tried to order a pizza from the takeout menu that we got from them the week before and they said they didn’t make the pizza anymore. They put us on hold for 8 mins and then hung up on us. We phoned back 3 times with the same response. We finally ordered a pizza at 10 pm and we waited until 11:15 pm for it to arrive. When we called to check on it, they were closed. They left us hungry and it was too late to order from another place. I will never order from Mama’s again!
Do not order from here employee was condescending and rude. Afterwards after the store closed our order never arrived with no call to let us know. My mother (a senior) was more than polite and tried to speak with the employee and she never got her food. Now we have to order from somewhere else. Take my advice: DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
Got the walk in special. It was a hit with the kids who normally don’t eat pizza.
I was skeptical at the ideas of Gourmet pizza first but the number of options for pizza made me try this place. I was delightfully surprised. One of the best quality pizza I ever had so far.The people who work here are great too. Despite being busy they were patient enough to guide me with my selection and customization.
