I have never been so pleased with a meal in my life. I just moved to the area and I will be coming here a lot for sure. I got the sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken fried rice, lemon chicken, beef and broccoli, and the general chicken. Everything was not only delicious but perfectly made and HUGE. I am going to be enjoying this for the next few days and it will likely be a struggle not to immediately order more when I run out. 10/10.
The breading on the sweet and sour pork was thick, the pork once you get pass the breading taste like minced meat. I could never eat that again.
TL;DR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5- This restaurant is amazing!- The staff are very kind- Incredibly affordable food for the amount they give you, and they are absolutely delicious.- Highly recommend their lemon chicken and tofu with veggies- pay in cash! I'm offered a small box of fried chicken for FREE everytime I do so ?------For over 15 years I would get my Chinese takeout from the Broadview-Gerrard area (since that's Chinatown, plenty of Chinese food there). However, their flavors and quality have grown really bland since and their foods are no longer as satisfying.Then I was recently introduced to Golden Wok and I wanted to try out some of the food I would often get from Chinatown (lemon chicken, tofu with veggies, egg fried rice, etc.) And I am proud to say that this is now my new go-to restaurant for Chinese takeout. The food was really mouth watering and savoury and tastes just as great as the ones I used to eat, and they're much more affordable than the ones in Chinatown. I highly recommend ordering their lemon chicken. And also PAY IN CASH, I'm offered a FREE box of fried chicken everytime I do so.It just sucks they're location is not the most optimal, as I would love to have them right on the main roads like Victoria Park or St Clair E, rather than a side street, but I guess that's where the hidden gems really are. Nevertheless, my review of them is still really great and 100% recommend to anyone for their next Chinese takeout.
The portions are good but it’s not the best quality. A lot of the items seem previously frozen. It’s not bad but it could be better.
I got the spicy pepper shrimp with small steamed rice. The shrimp is breaded and lays in a bed of spices, onion and green pepper.The shrimp could of been a bit spicier and it was a bit overly breaded. I wish there was more green pepper in the veggie mix and a tad less onions.However, in the end the flavour was there and tasted good. It’s a good place for a quick and short notice meal
The General Tsao Chicken & Crispy Beef were both all batter and no meat.Don't think I've ever experienced something like this before. Not sure how they're in business.Save your $$$!
worst Chinese food take out.. no flavor and general tso has no meat in and chilli chicken the same thing.. all batter and no meat and so hard and crunchy that it's not edible . so disappointed.. I will never go back

I always order the Dinner for 2B combo on uber eats. It's definitely just average westernized Chinese flavour, but their cooking speed is incredible! Excellent for when I'm tired, hungry, and just want to stuff myself without breaking the bank. Also nice to have enough food for lunch for a few days after.
This place constantly delivers. They serve great food for reasonable rates, there is no waiting time even when the place is full.
