High hopes coming here for Ozzy's Burgers at its second location. The oversized creations looked out of this world so for a burger fan, it's a must-try. Counter service was friendly. The food understandably takes a while to come out of the kitchen. However, it turned out to be just a mediocre burger experience.Ordered their signature Mustang Sally, an impressive double cheeseburger stacked with beef bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and crispy onion rings. The hand-pressed prime beef patty was freshly ground with no additives. But they almost seemed to have skipped salt & pepper as it was a little dry and short on flavour. It needed quite a bit of the house white sauce to chowdown. The burger was well-dressed with other ingredients yet it could be so much better if the star was the patty like some of the best burgers that I've had elsewhere.Other photos show burgers on wood serving boards & fries neatly presented in a fryer basket. For some reason, our $20 order came in a messy tray despite there being boards stacked in the kitchen. The hand cut fries were also a little soggy. The restaurant was fairly empty around lunch time when we visited so perhaps an off-day for Ozzy's crew.
Very small dine-in area but it’s not busy at all! I didn’t try their crazy burgers just because I wasn’t so hungry. But I suggest coming in hungry so that you can try their wild burgers because they do seem huge! I only ordered a cheeseburger and it’s pretty good and juicy! I love their French fries a lot for some reason. Overall pretty good!
Not as good as they use to be, they use to be one of my favourite places to eat, but now their quality is no longer there. The meat was so dry, I am happy I bought extra sauce on the side, otherwise it wouldn't have been edible for me. And they left the sticker from one of their red pepper or tomato inside my burger, so I'm questioning the cleanliness of their vegetables. Ozzy sauce was still good. But I don't think I'll order again since price doesn't match quality.
For appetizers, I got the chicken tender and fries that were served with barbecue and chipotle sauce. That was followed by the star of the show - the Notorious BLT and Son of a Bun main courses! With a 6-oz prime beef patty, fried egg, bacon strips/chicken tenders, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and pickles, topped up with a delicious sauce available only at Ozzy's Burger Sauce, these burgers were the epitome of quality and quantity with a deliciously satisfying taste that I'll be remembering for a while! Found this handmade burger place by chance and I'm glad we did. Asked the lovely lady at the cash what she liked on the menu and she suggested the 'Purple rain' burger.? It was fantastic! All 4 family members had something different and everyone was happy. They make a in house jalapeno sauce ?. They should bottle it and sell it. I will drive out of my way to return. I fully enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend it. Not your ordinary burger joint?. More along the lines of extraordinary (? Out of this world). Loved it! ??
Cheese Burger ? was great ?Gravy is horrible ?Girl at the cash constantly on her phone and never smiles when taking a order. After she takes our order she sits where the customer sits and uses her phone like she owns the place.
This Vaughan location, made the best steak sandwich and burgers ever, the presentation was so nice, the place was exceptionally clean, halal meat, very nice workers and the chef was so funny and kind. that was my first time but definitely not my last.
These burgers are to die for! I go to Vaughn once a week and always stop her to get my fill. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming.
Ozzy's. Is. Fantastic. I would highly recommend going here for a blend of fast comfort food that doesn't compromise on flavours. With a warm atmosphere and great customer care, Ozzy's offers standard and gourmet and caters to vegan and gluten free with exceptional quality! Do yourself a flavour and hop on down!
The chicken burger was amazing. The beef burger was a little artificial but was still solid. Great to try halal bacon, was crispy. Very convenient being infront of the mall. Only criticism is I tipped before but still had to get drinks and straw and napkins myself…that kind of made the experience weird.
