Took my family out to lunch at this location. We just moved to Cambridge and wanted to show them a around. They wanted Swiss chalet. Upon arriving it took a good 10 mins to get a table. Looking around it was was empty. Secondly, the waitress told us we would not be able to get white meat for another hour. Last but not least they served use warm pop. Apparently there ice maker was not working. The food was alright. Typical Swiss chalet taste. Very disappointing.
$115 order. Items missing:An entire chicken sandwich mealTwo rolls for two ribs mealsA veggie side for one rib mealGravy for the mashed potatoes of a wrap mealItems STILL missing after the second delivery:Two rolls.I don’t know that this location has EVER gotten an order 100% correct.This is definitely the last time we will ever order here.
Great place to grab food quick.Swiss Chalet and Harvey's at same counter.Employees(Mathew, April & Shery) are pleasant and helpful, all seem to love what they do! Had a great experience overall. Keep up!
First you gave me the wrong order; then you called me a liar.Saturday May 7, 2022, the order was placed about 5:15 p.m. I ordered a quarter chicken dinner and two sides. When I got the order home I opened the bag and the first two items out were a baked potato and chicken nuggets, neither of which I ordered.I packed up the entire order and returned to the restaurant. The gentleman on the desk checked the order, admitted it was wrong and said they would re-make the entire order. A few minutes later an individual I believe was a manager sent an employee out to ask again, what I had ordered. I confirmed the entire order.When the order was ready this person I believe was a manager, brought the order to the counter. She asked if I had brought the order back and I said "Yes." She then told me that it was the right order but she had remade this entire order, pointing to the attached order form.Manager: "Is this what you ordered?"Me: "Yes."Manager: "That's what was in the other bag."Me: "No it's not. There was a baked potato and chicken nuggets in the other bag that I didn't order."Manager: "I have the other bag. I can get it."Me: "My foods getting cold. Make it damn quick."She brings the other bag, opens it and on top are a baked potato and chicken nuggets.Manager: "I see what you mean. I apologize."IT'S A LITTLE LATE FOR THAT. You messed up the order and then call the customer a liar.I don't want anything other than for Swiss Chalet to see this. I don't want a gift card, store credit or anything else. I want Swiss Chalet head office to see this and look into who is running this outlet because you have big problems here.
Came here with a couple buddies after our P2A (Paris to Ancaster) gravel race. Was surprised they let us in given how muddy and disgusting we were, but we got seated and service was quick and cheery ?I ordered the smoky rib sandwich with fries and it was actually more delicious than I thought it would be! ?The service was quick, our waitress was pleasant, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! ??
I placed my order online set for a 5:10 pickup. At 5:10 I arrived at the restaurant,band my order was ready and waiting. Everything was quick, and smooth. The food was very good, and the staff friendly. I will definitely choose online ordering again in the future.
Pick up service was great and I love that they've changed from using plastic containers to cardboard boxes. I also liked that I had a choice of whether I wanted utensils or not. Well done Swiss Chalet!
There were stones in my french fries.. I like organic seasoning, but this was just too much. Be careful if you eat here because if you aren't as lucky as I am and you chip or break a tooth on a french fry stone, I am guessing it might be hard to get them to pay your dental bill.
Food was almost an hour late even though they said it was ready. It was cold and not worth the problems. I mean, if you are busy don't make the food until delivery is coordinated. So disappointed
Always a great meal and service, especially when the festive special is on, my favorite.
