Went a few weeks ago with friends, very quick and friendly service, cheap prices considering it's a bar. Only had poppers and fries but both were very goodAm going back again tonight and decided to leave a review when checking the hours
It was nice, nothing extreme but a good bar to stop by for a quick drink and good food (wings were recommended to me by a customer and he was 100% right, they are really good here and really crispy) I was impressed
***no one has EVER tried to contact me. I was called the next day and told not to come in. Cheques expire after 6 months. So youre going to have to cut a new one***it's not slanderous when she literally said it was because I was white. I have it recorded.I worked one shift here and they never paid me for it. I got my tips for the night and was told not to come back. The lady training me told me it was because I wasn't ethnic enough. I AINT EVEN WHITE YO.Sad honestly because food is bomb, management, not so much. ?Lesson learned.
Pops and ruby's is a cheap Chinese takeout masquerading as a bar, and that's not a bad thing. The Chinese food is classic and quite good. The beer is cold and keeps coming and the staff feel like Friends you've never met. If you are looking for a place to slow down and relax, take your time and be yourself this might just be the place. Its cozy friendly and cheap. The world has moved on and pops and ruby's hasn't and that's exactly what makes it great.I would highly recommend it, on a night where you just don't feel like cooking and want to get out of the house.
Horrible customer service. The only 1 Bartender/server at the restaurant, miss-behaves with customers. She would make faces & pass obnoxious comments each time she walked past our table. Overall, its been one of my worst experiences. This is another version of Karen's Diner chain, the only difference is that you haven't asked for it.Hope the owners do something about it. There are individuals out there who can provide good friendly professional service and will be greatfull to have this job.
The bartender was really rude towards me for no reason! And agitated as well. I went there bought a couple of beers and ordered wings. Her response was extremely pathetic. Good luck to you for not attracting customers because of this lady.
Many business trips staying in Cambridge I frequented Pops and Ruby's in the early 2000s. Many great memories of the locals, wings, and ale. Happy to see it's still going strong.
this place is racism with indian student ??????and tasteless food ever ??????bad service dont know how to speak with customers and these people are dishonest ????waisting my money
Everything is awesome. Wings and fries or get the party platter A plate. Also gotta try something from the Chinese menu. There’s even a special menu on a chalkboard. Everything’s good
Nice old school bar. Good service and great wings with nice frosted glasses for your beer. Great spot!
