One of the worst experiences at this Popeyes location. Tried a third time and they are as disappointing as they were the first time. Went on a Wednesday night, empty store, still took 10 mins for them to just assemble the food(cold and hard chicken strips)and hand it over to us, only to realise later that the drinks were not given. Went for the second time on a Saturday, was told that it would take 8 mins for the order as chicken strips are being cooked. Got the order after 34 mins. Saw a couple waiting for 2 sandwiches from even before and they were still waiting while we left. The staff just keeps on talking to each other and are hardly concerned about getting orders to the customers waiting. Never had this issue at any of the other locations. Would never go back.
I rarely give a totally bad review but I cannot lie. This place was disappointing, especially since my wife and I have enjoyed many Popeyes chicken franchises. But they only had one piece of white meat to offer. The red beans and rice had a strange stale taste. My wife's order of onion rings had a total of six onion rings. There were no apologies for not having some of the items we requested but the lady simply complained about the previous staff not prepping properly. The chicken was very greasy and they didn't even have a little honey for the biscuits. We will definitely not go back to this Popeyes. I hate to sound mean but it was an unwelcoming unpleasant experience.
Yesterday we had a order from door dash 10 pcs of chicken. It was unsatisfactory and doubled fried because of too much oil inside and it taste like a week old. Two times I called the store and explain but they did not listen. Every one try to put it on someone else's shift. They are not giving any compensation of previously ordered. So this store is Garbage.
Today at 4:30 pm visited this location. Ordered 4 pcs, mild chicken, dark meat. I got home to find 2 drumsticks and 2 pcs of chicken breast, ALL. HOT.This happened third time in less than 6 months : because of health reasons, I always order mild chicken and I don't undetstand the reason why, most of the time, I get the hot ones.Are they mixing them, do they have too many of the hot ones and they just give that to everybody, are they not trained...? Is getting worse by the day.

Chicken was not cooked thoroughly blood running out of it. Biscuits were hard and dry. Customer service poor, slid the box across counter, no condiments or utensils offered. Not our first bad experience here, very unorganized and unfriendly.
Horrible. Terrible. I believe that the worker that is taking orders should at least speak and understand English somewhat... Repeated our order 4 times at the screen, finally got that correct. Now we wait 25 minutes with no one in line or waiting for food. When we get our order at the counter, we'll guess what. We're short a combo. They say, oh, you didn't order that but yet they( 2 other workers) charge us for an extra drink. So we wait again and the 1st thing they do very quickly is to push the debit machine at you. No apologies, no sauces that we wanted. We understand that sometimes things like this happens but this is the last straw. I'm writing this review because it's has happened several times in the last month and witnessed several other customers at the store dealing with the same situation. Training should be a top priority before they are not supervised. I apologize for the rant but it's becoming non professional of poppey's. We enjoy the food but maybe a different restaurant is in the near future...
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I always go to the waterloo location but decided to give this location a try as I was in cam ridge and the chicken tasted like URINE!!! They didnt get any of my sides correct, and the coleslaw tasted like it was gone bad/rotten. The restaurant refuses to get back to me about my complaint. Most disgusting place I've ever eaten. Will definitely be reporting them to public health, I suggest no one eat their food
9:41Pm 30th DecemberI was told that the vats are not working so no chicken products. I mean if no chicken in Popeyes that what else left. I had always received good service from this location and i am not complaining but it seems odd to not have chicken but the restaurant close at 12:00 am
I wanna start off by saying that I attempted for two whole days to contact this restaurant before posting the review but they don’t like to answer their phones so… every single time I order from this restaurant or some thing is missing in my order. Never provided cutlery. This time I ordered nuggets and they poured salt all over them. Didn’t received my coleslaw. Last time same missing item but my root beer was opened and flat, time before that I got a poutine that they forgot the gravy. You guys need a new staff.
