I had an excellent experience here. I called ahead to place a pick up order and they were very efficient on the phone as they repeated my order back to me. My food was ready within 10 minutes. I enjoyed every last bite. The fish batter was crispy and not oily. Their home made fries were delicious and I couldn’t even finish them because so many came with my order. Their gravy was 10/10. I will definitely be back. I would post a photo, but I inhaled my food before taking a picture. ?
Today, I think I just had the best fish and chips outside of England!!! Definitely the best in Cambridge, Ontario! The fish was so crispy, not greasy and the chips were fresh cut, hot and generous. Super flavour, super fresh... just super!

Went to this location on a break from work. Ordered the Cod with fresh cut fries. Truly the best fish and chips I have tried in years. The fish and batter was truly outstanding and remarkable. The fresh cut fries with seasoning were some of the best fries I've tried. The coleslaw and sauce was a fantastic bonus. Service was super friendly and welcoming. I am from Mississauga but truly worth the 1 hour drive! Thank you! The passion for cooking is evident!
Okay absolute hidden gem. Ordered two meals and the fried apples. Opted for the gluten free, which they do once a month. If you have never had gluten free fish batter it's much crispier and better tasting (in my opinion) so I recommend it regardless of your diet. Since they do it once a month, that means the oil will be fresh too. The fish is perfect and so are the fries. We did take out and it was still just as crispy and nothing was soggy. The season on the fries is really good. I believe it's old bay which is common in the states and very good. The fried apples were an absolute treat. They're not fritters, they're a little different. Fried in the same batter as the fish. Will definitely get them again. The portions are very good. Fish is massive and tons of fries. I'm a big guy and I'm full after one fish and half the fries. Definitely recommend.
Just went to Otters, today is gluten free day (they also have a regular fryer going). Absolutely amazing. Otters Fish & Chips. This pictured is gluten free and my husband said it's crunchier and better than regular. Highly recommended. (There are more fries than this)
I ordered the happy hour 2pc haddock with fries and chicken fingers with my girlfriend. The food tasted great and the fish was fresh and a really good size. I would definitely recommend the fresh cut fries seasoned as it was really high quality. Nothing I ordered was too greasy which is a huge plus in my eyes.The service was excellent as the server was super friendly and brought everything in on a very timely matter and was very quick to respond to whatever I needed. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good fish and chips place in the Cambridge area.
We were in town from Oakville ON, for a hockey game, and found this awesome restaurant.Great customer service, quality and portions outstanding!We drove the 45 minute drive home, looking forward to our fish & chips…and IT WASAWESOME!Thumbs up to the fresh cut fries!Please come to Oakville ASAP!All the best!
Food was great, my wife and I both had the Haddock Platter with the jumbo shrimp. Portions were huge for the price and I had to help my wife finish hers.Both the shrimp and Haddock were well battered and not too greasy, will definitely be coming back next time were in the area.On a side note for the extra $1.50 I would order the fresh cut fries, my wife had them and I went with the regular fries and preferred hers. I'm not sure why they offer both but they should just sell the fresh cut and adjust the menu prices as they are much better.I think the server was trying to hint that I would like them more and I should have listened to her, otherwise probably the best fish and chips I have had in a while.
