Visited this morning for Sunday Brunch I was not disappointed View of the lake and the aroma of delicious food captured a perfect morning with friends Food was good…could have been hotter but buffet are challenging Staff were friendly Highly recommend a visit…reservations recommended
Today, my husband and I went to the Old Marina restaurant. We drove from Guelph looking forward to a take-out lunch of their advertised special. 'Fish Friday all day take-out' special of fish and chips for $14.50. When we ordered, the person at the counter did not know of the Friday special. It was posted on their Facebook site! I have been to this restaurant many times with friends. This was a huge disappointment as since the Covid began we have not eaten inside a restaurant and had take-out only twice. We left the Old Marina very disappointed, without lunch and hungry!
My husband decided to surprise me with an Anniversary dinner at The Marina. Atmosphere is ok, very loud but bearable. Service eh ! Food... terrible. Cost ... to high. We had a southern fried chicken sandwich. The buttermilk batter was twice the thickness on both sides of the 4mm thin chicken. Golden brown is underestimated. I had pulled chicken tacos. Loaded with salad, all I tasted from the little bit of shredded chicken was the marinade. Sorry that was the last.
