Most of the time George’s food is great, but now they switched round container to a plastic square one with less meat and tons of rice. The food itself also has become bland, watery sauces and for the prise increase very disappointing for this long time customer. Dragon city mite be my next step.
I don't know what happened to their rice but my god it is so bland and awful , they used to have my favorite chicken fried rice and now it's just tasteless. so disappointing
George’s was a family favourite for special occasions when I was kid (50+ years ago), and on a recent visit back to Cambridge, I was surprised and pleased to find that George’s was still open and in the same location. To my delight the menu still had our favourite foods and they still tasted delicious! George’s serves tasty food, delivers it quickly and offers generous portions. The staff are friendly and helpfully. Amazingly, this restaurant has been in business for 70+ years and is on the 3rd generation family ownership. Help support local business!
We love George’s and drive out of town to pick it up in Cambridge. We always order the same items. It was ordered correctly and we received the wrong items upon coming home and opening our food. We called to let them know of the mistake and in turn we were told it was our mistake for not hearing them correctly upon pick up. Super disappointed with customer service considering how expensive it is and far we drove to pick it up. Instead of making it right we were told how to properly order next time when the employee was too busy taking multiple calls that she got our order mixed up. Not happy.
Georges used to be the best Chinese food restaurant in Cambridge. I went there last night and they've turned it into a fast food place. No o it's worse than that. They bring you your food in a take out bag with plastics and tin foil containers. No plates and just plastic utensils. Then you try to eat the food and it's worse than anything I've ever eaten anywhere. I was discussed and very dissapointed.
I have loved George's Chinese since I can remember, but I am not sure if I will visit there again. My Mom, Aunt , a friend and I went there for lunch last week and we served ourselves on Styrofoam plates , plastic utensils and paper cups for coffee and tea.I was very disappointed. We did ask if we were able to eat in, so when our food came out in a paper to go bag with plastic soup spoons to serve I was very surprised. I guess part of the problem was me not understanding when the order taker said she was going to bring it out in a bag. The food was still very good as usual but very bad experience as far as I am concerned.
I love George's Chinese food. One time I got the food home and realized the rice was missing. I called in spoke to Laurie, she apologized for the error, and they replaced the rice immediately. Amazing service ?

I love love this restaurant, the food is amazing, ive been ordering for years!!! But just ordered a meal for 2 and got enough rice to feed a mouse. I appreciate the increase in prices but don't skimp out of the servings .
The food was horrible i was expecting so much more! I will never go there again and don't waste your time or money here. Absolutely horrible
