COVID kept us away but yesterday we needed a change. So glad we did. The on line ordering was easy to follow with great pictorials. Best subs we have ever had. pricey but well worth every penny. Happy to support the business and their cause.
Awful time management. The wait time, regardless of what time you go, is excessive. We thought to preorder this time as we were on a schedule. Order placed at 11:06 and confirmed ready at 11:29am. Got there at 11:27 and waited until 11:55 when they finally said they had no order for us. We showed them the confirmation and they said "computer issue, it didn't come through". We asked for a refund after waiting 30 minutes and magically they were able to print a confirmation of the refund with all our order with the details and times then said it'd take 3 days to process. So the order was in the system and the funds processed but it didn't come through? Awful service and no attentiveness from the staff to acknowledge customers who have clearly been waiting a while. If you can't time manage then turn off online ordering. We went to Fast Eddies and had a great lunch.
Great food but recently the quality has gone down. Last two times i came i had something wrong with my order. tomatoes on my sub when i asked for them to be removed and my receipt reflected that request while my sub did not, and then just two days ago i got a beef brisket and there was no BBQ sauce on it... thats what makes that sub. I used to come here 2-3 times a week now not so much.
Check your salads before you leave the place...The subs, while good, are a little pricey. I would rate them as 4 stars just for the subs, but, I made the mistake of ordering a salad last time I went. I asked for the Hook and Ladder salad. I asked for everything on it, and green peppers to be added, with ranch dressing. What I actually got was a bowl of lettuce with meat, and a bit of cheese... No other toppings and no dressing. One star for salads.
Thank God I didn't come here during a lunch rush! I don't understand why it takes this location so long to make a sub. I've been to other locations and they are much faster. Took 8 minutes to order and another 9 minutes for my sub.
Very cool place.. love the decor.... awesome service... and very good sub... I had the veggie sub.. but.. there was so many to choose from... helpful friendly staff.. ❤?

Usually when we are hosting a crowd, Firehouse is our go to place.We always purchase 3 of the deluxe sub boxes and it’s $260+Last time we ordered, got home and noticed there was no pickles!I looked on the website menu and it clearly says that the Deluxe sub catered box includes pickles.I called the store and spoke with the manager and she said “Nope” it doesn’t…no apology nothing…You’d think after spending that much on subs and more than once…they’d anti up some pickles, or update the menu with “You have to request pickles” ?
Love the subs, especially the Cheddar and beef brisket. Staff are great even when busy which is the usually for the Hespeler Rd location.
