Finally decided to go back since my wife and I heard it was under new ownership. We had a wonderful meal and fantastic service. The new owner (Steven) was working and even came over to introduce himself and asked us about our meal. A+ attitude, and very professional. We will be coming back with the family.
Great experience! Was surprised to see the owner on the floor and part of the whole dining experience Good food and drinks. Happy to see families out and enjoying meals together
Awful wait time for food around 45 minutes. Food was cold. Waitress was extremely nice about the situation. Appetizers were delicious and hot (mozza stick and deep fried dough tossed in parm)
I hadn’t been to an East Side’s in quite some time, and it was a great experience! Our server was on point and quick with the bread, drinks and salad and she checked on us often to make sure everything was good. The drinks and food were hot, fresh and delicious! I had a sangria and the gluten friendly cauliflower pizza, and my fiancé had beer and pasta. They had great service. We were seated right away, everyone was friendly and the place was really clean. We will definitely be back!
Now that the Restaurant is under new ownership, I decided to give it another shot. Even though it had only been a week, I already saw a difference. Staff were very pleasant and were on time for our drinks and food! Our waiter always ensured we had drinks/salad/bread and checked on us frequently to ensure everything was how we wanted it!I would highly recommend going back for those who had a bad experience in the past!!
We wanted to try something a little out of our box tonight so I made a reservation for 6 pm. We got there and they were pretty full. The Manager Steven was very accomodating and got us seated. about 10 minutes later he walked by and asked if we had been served. I said no and he had Magda right over to our table. We ordered drinks, salad, calamari, and meat lovers cauliflower crust pizza. First time for the crust. Drinks, salad and bread were delivered quickly and I had to flag Steven down for more salad. It was very good. Calamari was lightly breaded with 2 dipping sauces and both were great. The pizza was different. LOL The cauliflower crust was thin but good. The toppings were tasty but the pizza seemed to lack enough sauce. I don't know if that was normal because of the crust but that was the only negative comment we would have and gave the pizza an 8. In and out in 90 mins. We saw they were busy and didn't want to sit there and chat as other tables were doing for over 30 mins. after they paid.
We used to love coming here!New owners as of 2 weeks ago and they are no longer doing kids eat FREE Sundays.I am glad the table before us were finishing their food and questioned the bill as it isn't posted anywhere and we would have ended up with a large bill (family of 7) unaware. But they did change it to Toonie Tuesdays for kid meals.
My girlfriend decided she wanted pasta and said she loved East side Mario's. We have only ever had it from the restaurant and had good experiences. We ordered through Uber eats and definitely not impressed. Portions were small not up to the standards you expect from them. Not sure we will want to go to the restaurant again after this experience. Hopefully they can up their standards for future customers.
Cambridge location. No hostess!!! Finally got seated. Service, OK but not wow. Food, OK but not wow. Meatballs tasted not so fresh. Wandering if they were frozen and reheated. Even for a restaurant chain I would expect better. At least provide some quality since you clearly don't mind charging the customer. Do better.
We heard there was new management and decided to give it a try again and we are so glad we did. Service was quick, food was delicious, our waitress was above and beyond, great with our table and kids. The owner even came around to tables checking on everyone. Such a great experience
