Dakshin has easily become our favourite go-to spot for a yummy dosa feed every few weeks since last December. We love the friendly staff and of course the quality of food for the very reasonable price you pay.Expect a bit of a wait if you're going in during dinner hours, and note that you have to walk-in to book a reservation (call-ins are not allowed), but believe me... the wait is so worth it!! ?Our go-to dosa on the menu is the mysore masala (make sure to add chopped onions to it, and if you're up for it, they can make it extra spicy). A must have is also their cutting chai, and a new favourite of ours is the kuzhi paniyaram as a starter.The picture was from our first visit last December as it was my husband's first time eating a dosa.?
All the dishes here are vegetarian. Taste wise the food was really great. Loved the dosa, uttapam and the combo menu. But, I think quantity wise it could have been better. Next time, I want to try their thali and puri masala. There might be some waiting time before you are able to get a table. And they don’t take reservations over the phone. Overall, its a 'go again' restaurant for me and my family.
One of the finest dining experience with authentic south Indian delicacies. We ordered four different type of masala dosa and every bit out it was up to the mark.You also get option of vada,idli and sweets.Price ranges between $15-$20 per person.Staff was polite and friendly too.
Went for lunch..ghee masala dosa, vada, gunpowder dosa and kesari. Everything was great :) clean and well kept restaurant, good service, value for money.Pro tip- One ghee masala dosa is enough for an adult.. ;)

Best. Masala. Dosa. Large, fresh, crispy, with deliciously smooth potatoes inside. Just awesome. The dahi vada was okay, but the deliciousness of the dosa outweighs it all. So. Good.
Good restaurant, service is nice . They charge for wxtra sambhar , experienced 1st in any south indian restaurant in canada like that . Food was good .
I visited there last week.Here are my pointers :1. Bit crowded.2. Quality of food was from average to good.?3. Price little bit on higher side.??4. Ok Customer service .?5. Not at a bad option for South Indian food.?I might visit again.
Great food, great taste. The ambience is as good as food. Authentic South Indian food. Best in KWC. Prices are normal despite all this. I'd visit again and again
