The latest pizza I ordered, I paid in advance and was NOT disappointed! I had 3 toppings, one which was “extra cheese” and we had a GOOD amount of cheese. (Nothing worse than ordering extra cheese, but not wanting to pay for double cheese, and still getting next to no cheese).Cheese lovers get it.Was very happy and will be ordering from here more often on our pizza treat nights. :)
My order on May 22, 2022, was one of the best pizza orders I’ve had in the past 10 plus years! The crust bottom was perfectly GBD, and soft and fluffy on the inside! Toppings were perfectly arranged and the perfect amount, so you got equal toppings in every bite. As always the stuff was very friendly and help as soon as I walked to pick up my order. The pizza shop was clean and organized as always. Going to miss the great service my family and I have received over the years as we are moving out of the area. Wish City Pizza all the best in the future. Keep up the amazing job you are doing and thank you!
I’ve enjoyed city pizza in the past for their reasonably priced slices but have found that lately, the pizza is unbelievably salty. So much so that it leaves my mouth dry and my lips stinging. I’m wondering if perhaps they changed their recipe for the dough, as I’ve tried even the veggie options and found no change in the overall saltiness. I do hope the company/store looks into this as I’d love to continue supporting them but for now I will look elsewhere.
Food quality is very, very good!Friday evening pickups are brutal though. You can only bake so many in the ovens and the online ordering does not reflect that! We were told by website confirmation of order, to pick up in 20 minutes...we arrived exactly on time, and waited another 25 MINUTES, outside the store. And it was brutally cold outside.They kept saying 'in ten more minutes' but the pizzas were not made yet, so they couldn't be in the oven! Anyway, it is great to see their success, here in Cambridge. Maybe a regional manager could go by the store on Friday evening, and suggest some efficiency measures or prep work that could be done that morning, to get things ready, ahead of the slamming business!!!!Annette D.
Went to open the 591 ml pop that came with the order and it expired a month ago. Called the store and the guy tells me pop is good for 3 mths after the expiry lol. No suggestion to replace, just sat there and said uh uh uh uh after I told him that was the worst answer I’ve ever heard. Hygiene there was also extremely awful. Definitely never going back
We have ordered from City Pizza for years and have always been satisfied with our orders, but last night the pizzas we ordered were better than ever. I am not sure what, if anything has changed but the crusts were airy and toppings plentiful!
Ordered 2 thin crust pizza, 4 creamy garlic dipping sauce, 2 orders of wings.Received 2 regular crust pizza, 1 wings and 2 "free ranch dipping sauce".Called in and said you forgot my wings and dipping sauce but strangely gave me 2 ranch for free, they offered to bring me the missing items after I called and they were speedy with the replacements however they then forgot the dipping a second time. The pizza was okay not great but but not terrible. The delivery guy was kind enough to say it's not on the receipt. He showed me the receipt and it was on there. Then he said we'll call them because I'm not coming back. They then offered me a credit for the dipping sauce but I won't go back.Customer service was okay but they need to get it together with the orders. Pizza is pretty simple, domino's it is next time.
They managed to mess almost everything up.They gave 2 ranch dipping sauces instead of the 4 creamy garlic we ordered. We ordered thin crust pizza which was not thin crust BUT all the toppings were correct and it was decent pizza.We ordered 2 orders of wings but only got one.We called to let them know of the errors and they did say they’d send our dipping sauces and wings. When the delivery guy arrived there were the wings but again no dipping sauces. The delivery driver said they won’t be coming back when we mentioned there were no dipping sauces again.I will not recommend this pizza place or ever try again. Should have read the reviews before ordering.
This is not the first time I've had a bad experience with this place. It is time to write about them. The black olives and bacon were very excessive. Large clumps and not scattered evenly on pizza. I am not sure if the un-experienced /young cook has received any proper training. Dear owner, if you really care, please do something. Thank you!
I usually enjoy the pizza but the last few times the pizza crust was too thick and soggy especially when I requested a well done crisp crust. Also, I requested bacon strips which is equivalent to 2 toppings and there was barely any bacon. Not sure whats been going on these last couple of times of ordering.
