A friend and I went into this restaurant, and were looking forward to enjoying a few beers, and a meal. All was great, until our waitress came to the table. This waitress was extremely unprofessional. It seemed she was on some sort of substance. She could carry a beer without spilling it not only on the floor, but all over my friend. When a comment was made the second time he got covered in beer, she proceeded to rub herself and tell him he could lick it all off of her.. not only was this disgusting, but beyond unprofessional. When she brought our food out, her hand was covered in sauce like she dipped her hand in my food. This used to be our favorite spot. This has now completely turned us off.
Service by Madi was good. Went by to watch Stanley Cup final game 5 on Friday night. Got real busy just before 8 pm as we arrived. Chicken club on sourdough was delicious, washed down with vodka Cranberry. Disappointed they didn't have Grey Goose. Domestic draft beer pitchers were popular across the mostly Colorado Avalanche crowd. Potato skins were scrumptious.
I had an awful experience at this location. Food was disgusting. Was charged 1 $ for each slice of pickles on the side for kids. The kids burger was hard as a rock and so peppery my kid couldn't eat. I asked for it to be replaces with fish n chips... I was brought a piece of fish the size of my pinky which basically had more batter than fish... And was charged 8$ for the fish and also charged for the inedible burger. It cost me 100$ for 3 kids meal and a steak... Beware of the "low cost" - you are taxed 3% of your WHOLE bill to keep the "prices low" on the menu. So prices aren't low you just pay for it later and aren't told about it.Note : The gateway Dr location is amazing. Although they also have the stupid 3% tax thing. I wonder if you can refuse to pay that.
Went on a Sunday afternoon, so maybe they were short staffed. But I had to go find someone to take our order after waiting 25 minutes. The food was brought out after a ridiculous amount of time. The steaks were good and hot. Fries were old, cold, and stale - tasted like they were cooked yesterday and not even reheated. The cheeseburger was also cold and the bun was dried out and crusty. We've eaten at this location many other times but this was pretty bad. Also had to go find the waiter to then pay for our food.I gave two stars because their prices are pretty good. Otherwise they would have only gotten one star for this visit. Very disappointed. Will probably return because of the prices, but hoping for better service and food in the future.
We got here right before 9 pm on Saturday, we had a new server which was fine she was nice but seemed like she needed more training and was unprepared. Made a bunch of mistakes and the managers refused to come to our table. Seemed as though management threw her in without the proper training and didn’t even bother to come check to make sure everything was okay. Felt very bad for the server. Awful service for the place and management.
Deals after 9pm are good but the nachos were worst, even after 9pm its half the price and shouldn’t be half the quality. The chucks nachos we got were just chips with very little cheese and no jalapeños. We couldn’t even complete those. Rest of the food we had were pretty good.
What else could you possibly want for a guys night out. Everything exceeded my expectations. If you find somewhere else that gives you more bang for your buck let me know.
Great place to sit and watch the game. Food is always good. Deals after 9pm every night, including weekends. Servers are fast and responsive. All around a good atmosphere for families and friends. Maria is an excellent server.
Ordered take out from this location. We ordered buffalo chicken nachos, spinach dip, and chicken fingers. The nachos were slapped together with minimal toppings on it and the portion of spinach dip was a joke. We received just less than 1/4 cup of dip.This was a surprise since we’ve dined at multiple Chuck’s before with no issues. It’s clearly an issue with this location in particular.I do not recommend this location at all. You’re better off going to the Kitchener location.
Great place to get together with friends for some food! Out of the 2 locations in Cambridge, I prefer going to the Hespeler road location. All of the servers are great, but Maria is my favourite!
