Absolutely amazing food tucked away in an unsuspecting plaza. Ricotta crepe was crazy good and the Swiss crepe was perfectly balanced! The crepes themselves were soft and so tasty! But let me tell you that the coffee is some of the best I've had in the area! They know how to make a perfect espresso for our Corrado and latte! I definitely will be coming back!
Visited this cafe on a Saturday afternoon with my wife and we could not have been happier! We ordered the Swiss crepe (savory) and the strawberry ricotta crepe (sweet) and they were both delicious and beyond our expectations. We also ordered lattes and were very impressed with the quality of the coffee - the service was excellent too. We will definitely be back very soon!
An absolutely amazing place! The food was delicious and so different! Plus it was baby friendly. There was room for us to have the strollers and there is a lovely change table set up in the bathroom. My friend and I had savoury crêpes (one which was gluten&dairy free) and I had a hot chocolate as well. Plus I got a cannoli crêpe to go. It is not cheap but the price is reasonable considering how fresh everything is! I definitely will be coming back!
We ate at Café du Monde Creperie in Cambridge for the first time today and absolutely loved it. We tried three crêpes, two savory and one sweet. All were excellent. The coffee was also wonderful. Service was splendid. There were only two people working when we were there, and they who manage it all -- kitchen, cooking, service -- so I suggest you take your time and relax as you prepare for this wonderful experience. Watch the crêpe being made and enjoy your day.
Four of us met for lunch. The Crepes were delicious, beautifully garnished, satisfying and freshly made once the order was placed. Nothing pre- cooked. Desserts are tempting and well displayed. Friendly staff but busy with lots take- out orders as well as eat in. We tried different savoury crepes then shared a dessert one. We will go back. Try this yourself, an experience with a different twist.
This lovely cafe offered an amazing brunch today for my friend and myself! The crepes are amazing, so delicious, fresh ingredients complimented by amazing coffee. Met the owner who is so sweet and interactive with her customers. Her other staff were also so polite. Can’t say enough about this gem of a place! We’ll be back very soon, it’s on my fav list!!
Ever since the Downtown Crepe Café in Kitchener closed a number of years ago, my wife & I have been hoping and looking for another creperie in Waterloo Region. Just recently, we stumbled across Café du Monde Crêperie in Cambridge. Apparently they’ve been open for about 2 years already, so why did it take us so long to find it?!! Maybe it’s because they’re located in a rather unusual place, a little medical plaza off Coronation Blvd, just past the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Not exactly where you’d expect to find such a business but, on the other hand, also very appropriate because if you’re feeling poorly, the welcoming atmosphere, the friendly service, the relaxing French background music, and the delicious food in this establishment will soon have you rejoicing and smiling with contentment! My wife & I could hardly believe our good fortune upon arriving here in mid-morning on a weekday and discovering that we were the only customers in the place! This gave me a chance to talk with the friendly & welcoming owner, Nadia, and get to know her a little better before more customers arrived. Nadia left a career with a large company in order to be her own boss and open this restaurant. And while she works harder and longer hours than before, she absolutely loves what she’s doing and it shows! Helped by her mother in the kitchen, they whip up both sweet & savoury crepes, waffles, pizza, wraps, and salads, served along with variety of coffee & tea, and even a couple of flavours of ice cream if you can make it as far as dessert. My wife ordered the breakfast crepe with two eggs, three strips of bacon, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and aioli. I opted for the savoury Mediterranean crepe, featuring chicken breast, feta cheese, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, chives, and avocado tzatziki. Oh. My. Goodness! Both were absolutely divine! Probably the best crepe dishes we’ve ever had anywhere! We are definitely going to be back to give their other offerings a try!I must confess that I hesitated to post this review because I’d hate to see the place become so busy that my wife & I can no longer get a table when we go there. But the food is so delicious, the service so friendly, and the atmosphere so unique & delightful that it would almost be a sin not to tell others about it! Highly recommended and well-deserving of a 5-star review!
Happened to go to a doctors appointment and noticed this cafe inside. Was pleasantly surprised. I got the Nutella Crepe & my mom had the breakfast crepe and they were both DELICIOUS. Cute & bright place with great vibes. very friendly & lovely staff. Definitely will be coming back!!

The first time I have ever tried beignets and I am hooked. They’re so so good! I love the cafe Au lait as well. Lines are super super long though, and it is cash only. Also because the cashiers don’t use calculators, they charge you a different total price every time for the same items which is confusing. Definitely worth visiting though!
