We have eaten Indian food on many occasions. I find it easy to get into an order the “Same“ thing Mind set. Our friends live in Cambridge and have enjoyed frequenting Bombay Sizzle. Often times even the menus make it difficult to choose because everything looks and sounds good. I felt adventurous enough to do something I’ve done regularly - I like to honour the chef by getting him/her to make their favourite dish and surprise me. Very often, I will get something that wasn’t even on my radar screen and truly enjoy it. Todays surprise dish was a Lamb Bhuna - lamb stew cooked with tomatoes, onions and Indian spices. This came out with nanh and rice. It was delicious. Others at the table ordered butter chicken and a curry dish. The staff was amazing and we all left satisfied that we made a great dinner choice.
This place had amazing food options. If you're unsure of what to choose simply grab the butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan and thank me later... You will not be disappointed. I would honestly eat here everyday if I could.
The food is awfully salty. The Reshmi kebab was inedible because of the salt content. The Karahi chicken was underdone - the spices weren't cooked enough The silver lining was the peshwari naan - it was perfectly sweet and delicious.
I usually would give this place 5 stars but not after last night...My go to order is the mashed eggplant. It was very greasy and VERY salty to the point where I couldn't even eat it. It is usually NEVER like this...I woke up this morning with terrible stomach pains and I was sick all morning.I don't know if it was an off day or what, but I'm hesitant on coming back here again.2 stars because my partner liked his vindaloo and the samosas were good.
One of the better options for Indian food in town. Food quality is good, prices are okay. Bombay Sizzler is on our regular takeout rotation and I don't see that changing any time soon!
Every time I order from here I swear the portions get bigger but the price stays the same. I’m a little particular about Indian food but this place is amazing. They always have my order ready for me when I get there
My husband and I have loved this place for takeout for years, but lately it's EVEN BETTER! Absolutely delicious food, generous portions (particularly the biryani) and good value for what you're getting. Whatever they're doing, I hope they keep doing it!
Placed an order from uber eats and found hair in my food. Never ordering from this location. Called restaurant for help regarding refund from ubereats and they didn’t took any action. Thats food safety issue.
