In all my pie eating lifenever has the tapp fell affterrible taste far too pepperythe 2nd one went out the windowfigured the seagulls n raccoonscould share it…I’ve not ate at the thistle in a few yearsand I won’t go back.The Chips mind you, were proper
There is nothing to complain about this place. I’ve always loved coming here for Fish and Chips, and still one of the best I know of.Their service is always great, and the fish is always exceptional; perfectly battered, perfectly fried.I try other places, still come back to Thistle.

Hands-down my favourite fish and chip place in Burlington the quality is always amazing love the staff they’re so sweet and they have special tea drinks that I can’t get anywhere else me and my family have been coming here for years and I can’t wait for it to open back up and get that Jell-O that we’ve been missing??, highly recommend this is definitely a treat night for us when we come here❤️ highly recommend!!
First time ordering from Thistle. There is no doubt that the Scottish make the best fish and chips! The fish was flaky and perfectly cooked. The batter was not too heavy and very crispy, just the way I like it. Fries were thick cut and cooked perfectly. Overall the best fish & chips I’ve had in Burlington! Highly recommended!
Best fish and chips this side of the Atlantic! Come to think of it, other than a seaside spot in Cleethorpes probably the best we’ve ever had.
Ordered haddock and fries. The fish was good, the fries was trash, meaning it was only okay to be trashed…. In the garbage. Incomprehensible- I don’t think they made fresh fries for several days and decided to just warm up the very hard dried up wrinkled old fries and packed it up with the crispy fried fish. If the fries were free I definitely would not complain, However; the fries cost almost five dollars extra. Very disappointed. I did not feel like they valued me as a customer. I won’t be back. There are actually better FISH and CHIPS in Burlington.

The food is very good and the restaurant people are always so friendly and helpful.The food portions are more then enough and hot when served The chowder is delicious would recommend this restaurant always Have not dined in as yet but the past year have had take out .
