Was fantastic back in the day. Now smells like a dirty washroom. Needs refreshing, new paint and a clean from top to bottom. For weekday dinner, (no drinks) for 2 adults, 2 kids (6 and 4 years old) after tip was $140.Was quite a bit of sticker shock. If they kept on top of maintenance and refreshed a bit, it would be more reasonable.Their sashimi is also pre-cut, although reasonably fresh. The wasabi was stale and lacked any of the typical “sinus clearing” ability. The rock shrimp is what I love about this place. It’s no where else and just so satisfying. How they keep it so crispy while covering it in a Creamy hot sauce is magic.
Great sushi, but the main thing is they bring your order very quickly. Not all of it, but you can start eating quite quickly after ordering and they keep bringing the rest shortly after. Great place!
Sushi was good overall, really don’t recommend the oysters, they just tasted far too old to be served. All in all would go again because the food is good and staff are kind but perhaps not for all you can eat because better options are available in that sector
This is my favorite sushi restaurant of all time, and Ive been eating sushi my entire life from downtown Toronto, Mississauga, Scarborough, now I'm more settled west of gta and I finally found it folks.Best, fastest service ever. Nice staff, delicious food.I wish there were a bit more food options but honestly I am the type to stick with what I'm comfortable anyways.Thank you Team Sushi Asano!
This WAS the best sushi place in Burlington, a few years ago. Now it's the worst by far. The rice is always overdone - think half mixed mochi dough - and the ingredients are never fresh, sometimes to the point that you can smell it or sometimes even visibly see that something is rotting. It's absolutely disgusting here now. No clue what happened. We thought it was the pandemic at first, but... for the love of God, SHRINK THE MENU if you don't have the same resources as before. Like every other sushi place in the area has done when necessary.
Love this place. I am not big fan of sushi but here I really love how they cook. Very fast service and great people. My favourite sushi place and you can’t even compare to others. No one has this many different kind of food.If you haven’t been here. I would really recommend.
Low quality sushi. The rice was mushy, the rolls were mushy, the edamame looked rotten and had a foul smell. The miso soup was the only edible dish. I did not even risk having the sashimi after the first few bites. I will definitely be skipping this place. Gladly pay 2x at Doma or Masayuki.
Great sushi. I loved it. I will be back for sure.

Been coming here for 10 years or so as I live across the street. The last three orders from here have been very low quality, getting worse as time goes on. Last night we went in the rice was sticky like glue and seaweed was stale to the point we did not eat any sushi at all. When pointed out to the waiter he shrugged and said “oh its too sticky, ill tell the chef.” This was never dealt with by staff and then I was charged a full bill and asked if I was going to eat the bad sushi that still hadnt been cleared by the time the bill came. Even though its close to home, its not worth the poor quality food… I’ll be finding a new sushi spot!
