There was no salt and the food was bland. Mussels give no description of being spicy and came loaded with pepper. Drinks were good

Pleasant and welcoming. Suggested drinks and pleasant. Our meals were great. The bartender just didnât have ingredients for my cocktail so the raspberry mojito was great. ð
In a city with limited diversity, people of colour stand out. The servers kept staring at me like I didnât belong there and the service felt disingenuous. The Seared Artic Char is a very salty dish. I didnât enjoy the experience and opted to leave so I canât speak to their dessert.

We had a group of 6 and everyone was very happy with their choice! Our server was excellent! North Coal is always friendly and the food is particularly well prepared and original!
First time at the North Coal, really liked the patio seating and the drinks but were not overly impressed with the food. Was excited for the dessert and were dining early in the evening and they were already out of dessert! Food was a bit oily, might return for drinks but not really keen on dining here again.
