Owner was extremely rude to me and angry for ordering food and picking it up 5 minutes past the pick up time we said in the phone on my lunch break and then refused to put the toppings I wanted on my burger because I was late. Even if I was early, I would still have to drive back to work to eat it, but he was angry at me for picking up the food I ordered and paid for late by his standards. Not for me anymore, I prefer supporting businesses that also appreciate their customers effort to support them. .. your welcome.
While we were waiting on our order, the owner and his son made hateful comments about members of our Muslim community, who were headed to the Mosque across the road on the last Friday of Ramadan.I personally prefer my over-fried onion rings without a serving of casual Islamophobia, so will be skipping this place. While the fries are good, the only thing more disappointing than the terrible onion rings is that I was too dumbfounded to immediately speak up against their hate.
First time here the other day. I can now say, without hesitation that if you are craving real, authentic poutine, there is no other place in Burlington better than The French Fry Guy! So good! The owner also took the time to tell me about how he makes the beef patty’s for his burgers from scratch. Next time, it will be poutine and a manburger for sure! Highly recommended.

I got the large poutine. IT WAS EPIC. Fries done proper.. didn't skimp out on cheese or gravy. Plus the gravy had a decent flavor. It's hard to find a place that gives you all three elements properly. Try them. It won't be your last time.
Was looking for some good local poutine and friends turned us on to Fry Guy. We were not disappointed! Poutine was beautiful! Also had a delicious manburger and maybe the best onion rings I've ever had in my life. Portions were generous, value was good, and the service was super-friendly. Will be back for sure!
Hands down the best place I've been to. Family run business, that values quality and taste. I will definitely be coming back here again.
The poutine is consistent every single time I go and delicious. Definitely one of the best poutine in Burlington. I agree with others that the gravy is a tad salty so I usually get the smaller size and a drink to combat that. For some reason the past few times I've gone I haven't been able to get onion rings. I don't think he was sold out but just didn't have enough staffing to make them maybe? In any case, the fries are so good that it doesn't really matter. I keep coming back for the yummy poutine.
Can't beat this place. Best poutine you can get the burgers to die for and don't forget about the onion rings honestly you can't go wrong you can order just about anything on the menu and be happy
Great service, is busy around lunch time. Uses real curds. Picnic benches under trees makes for a nice snack area. Watch out for the picnic bench on the left side, the BTS are loose and its more like a teeter totter.
