The quality of everything such as menu options, tables, drinks are great. The reason why it loses stars is because despite being a sports bar, most of the tables are placed on bad angles to watch the game. The service staff do not come by enough to keep drinks full which may also be because of the layout or just short staffed. Additionally the times I have been in there only 1 game is set to EVERY tv. I want this place to be better than it is because I know it can.
***MUST READ****Staff have no personality. Not made to feel like you should even be there! No customer service. Having worked in the hospitality industry I'd expected more from their staff. When servers cry about not making money for two years during a pandemic, I don't feel sorry for Shoeless staff at all. They haven't done anything to earn sympathy. Guess that's what happens when you hire from a pool of people that expect money with no effort. The service industry isn't a hard one. Hire and train the right people and watch your business flourish. Sadly this rest on the shoulders of management. Clearly management has its head buried in the sand. Prove me wrong Shoeless Joe and please don't respond with "we strive to deliver the best Fan Experience" because clearly you don't care and this is just a generic auto response. Once again proving how little you value your patrons.
Went for lunch here with my friend and it was fantastic. The food was excellent and warm with several healthy options as well. The portion size of the meal was perfect. Especially liked that Arman the manager made sure that our experience was excellent.Definitely will be returning soon!
Shoeless is typically one of my favourite restaurants! My experience at this Brant street location was not great to say the least. 3 of my family members order the Chicken Cordon Blue, a rather pricey meal option. When the food arrived my meal was stone cold and my family’s were barley warm. After making a complaint, only at the end of the meal was I offered a new meal/something to take home. My family was already finished with their meals and we were practically waiting on the bill. It was extremely disappointing to say the least. A bill total of 166 shouldn’t not have been so displeasuring.* the waitress we had was new but did a fantastic job for her second night at this busy location
Great food and great service
It took twenty minutes before they even spoke to us. We finally ordered food and it took an hour and a half to get it, no one even came to check on us. The restaurant wasn't even bussy, it was like they forgot about us. They only brought out food for ten of the twelve of us and they didn't even get our orders right! My friends 16$ nachos had barely any cheese and three jalapenos. And, they were BURNT. Our food was cold and had hair in it. It was disgusting. The bathrooms were gross and looked liked they hadn't been cleaned for days. My burger was missing half the toppings I asked for and.The two meals that hadn't been brought out were "messed up" so they had to remake them! At that point we just left and all they did was give one person a coupon. We will never go back there ever again. All in all terrible service and food.
U will read good and bad reviews, but this place is terrible, burnt food ,shitty service, manager offerd no solution, go anywhere else
Picked up the Buffalo chicken wrap with lattice fries and dill dip on my way home last night. It was so good. Also love their flat bread bruschetta and their spinach and artichoke dip. Definitely we'll be going back.
Took our employees for dinner. The food wasn't the problem. The treatment of thier staff from upper managemt was disgusting. Trying to take thier servers for granted, playing them like they don't know how to do thier jobs even though they are the sweetest. We also discovered upper management is trying to under pay those below them while trying to take a large cut in tips for themselves. As a business owner myself, I can't fathom how one treats thier employees like this and still thinks it's okay.
Went in to Shoeless Joe’s to catch the Raptors game before Ontario went in to modified stage 2 lockdown. The place was not busy at all and there was nobody at the front podium when we walked in. After about 5 minutes, one of the waitresses greeted us and told us somebody would seat us soon. Then about another 3-5 minutes later, we were seated. For the appetizer we ordered the spinach artichoke and goat cheese dip. It was served with baked pretzel bites and nacho chips. It was delicious and definitely a must order. Then after about what felt like an hour, our mains were brought to us. I ordered the Lumberjack burger with thick cut fries. This burger had the crispy thick cut onion ring and the house-made chipotle BBQ sauce. The beef patty was very tasty, juicy and cooked to perfection. The onion ring amplified the overall flavour of this burger. The fries were nice and warm and not too firm but I did have to add a bit of salt to taste.Overall the food was fresh, flavourful and affordable. The service was extremely slow which was quite disappointing as we were starving. They had ample seating and the aesthetic of this establishment was modern and clean. This is a great place to spend time with family and friends. I would recommend coming here.
