The food was amazing. The only issue I had was that my spaghetti and meatball was not very hot when it came out, and it was stuck together. The fresh mozzarella appetizer was amazing! Next time I will be just eating those.
Calamari starter was extremely over cooked - hard and dry. 2 of our 4 main dishes were inedible. The pasta was clumped into hard balls. Overcooked in parts/uncooked and hard in parts. Another main was prepared incorrectly - no mushrooms. So appetizer burned, 2 of our 4 mains inedible, main 3 missing ingredient. Very disappointing.
Caesar salad (individual) was enough for two. Excellent. Had chicken parmesan which was very good and good portion. Took enough home for a meal! Service was excellent. Music was a bit too loud for us.
Beet and goat cheese salad was delicious - best salad I've had in a very long time.
Nice family meal out for a long weekend. Server was very attentive and food was very good.
The food quality seems to have diminished since my last visit in early Spring. Service was good. Lasting impression makes me hesitate to go again with other alternatives in the ready.
Two people went for a later lunch - 1:45 pm. The restaurant wasnât busy, one long table with about 12 ladies, and approx. 4 other tables. The young woman at the front was very nice and pleasant; our waiter was pleasant, helpful with our order, when we sat down he came over immediately, gave us water and took our drinks order. Then when he brought the drinks we gave him our order. We split a reg. caesar salad and split the lasagna. We requested the salad first. Well, that is when it went downhill. Other reviews complain about the slowness of food and drinks arriving at the tables, and the same thing happened to us. There were two people working in the kitchen that we could see, and 3 serving staff. Even though we got our drinks quickly, it took about 15 min. to get our salad. That may not seem long, but the restaurant was not busy, so could not understand the delay. Then when the lasagna came out, it wasnât quite up to par. There were parts of it that were quite cool to the taste, and the entire dish was not very hot. The food tasted good, but â¦.. We didnât bother to order anything else. We usually go to the Scaddabush in Oakville, and will continue to go there now. No matter when we have gone to eat there in Oakville, be it a very busy Motherâs Day, a later Sunday lunch or a lunch during the week, we have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for our salads. What a shame, because the restaurant in Burlington is closer to where we live, and would prefer that location.
Service was horrendous. Ordered glass of wine which took 30 minutes to get and arrived after meal was finished
The waiter was excellent !!
Iâve been looking forward to have dinner at this restaurant for some time. Our server was friendly but unfortunately the rest of our experience was very disappointing. We ordered all our food at the same time. Our apps arrived about 20 mins after we ordered, it would take well over an hour later for our mains to come. The manager came by to apologize for how long it was taking and explained that the kitchen was rammed from the dinner service. There were only is and 6 other tables of 2-6 people. Most of the tables had left while we ordered. When our food came, my chicken penne was very el dente. Some of the outer penne was inedible. My boyfriendâs sausage fennel pasta was missing the sausage. The supervisor said she would comp his dinner, because this wasnât âup to their standardâ I suppose it was the least she could do considering he didnât get what he had ask for. The food itself was a 5/10 Maybe this was an off day for them , too bad itâs the one I had picked for my birthday dinner
