Delicious, satisfying exceptional culinary experience. Made a reservation for the "power hour"...1/2 price appetizers, 9oz glass of wine for the price of a 6oz and more. Offered daily between 4pm and 6pm. A cornucopia of choices! My friends and I chose the Steak Frite Poutine. The grilled steak was tender and served atop hand-cut fries, topped with Quebec quality cheese curds tossed in a red wine demi and hollandaise sauce, plated with diagonally sliced green onions. Every bite was sheer perfection. The wine menu paired well with all the menu offerings. Service was classy. Empeccable taste in decor. We ate indoors however there is a spacious outdoor patio. Parking behind the restaurant which is deducted from the patrons bill on presentation of a parking receipt. Acoustics were excellent and condusive to conversing at ones table. Definitely a place to enjoy an evening out with friends.
One of the best burgers I had in Canada, excellent service.We've ordered without a bun, it looked great, big juicy patty and not the burnt and tasteless like in most places.The also mentioned they have gluten-free buns.

I had the pleasure of dining here with a friend of mine on the weekend and despite my criticisms following, I still very much enjoyed my dining experience. A small yet modern spot with a fantastic looking menu.First, the service was very friendly and good on the upsell. Unfortunately I forgot the name of our server but she was very attentive without being overbearing which is actually a fine balance to maintain. So service was perfect.The food was fantastic as well aside from a few quality control issues that I think could have been avoided. Crostini was stale and very hard with our cheese and steak tartare. I would have been much more pleased if this came out with some grilled bread which the kitchen and server was more than happy to provide. Completely changed the dish to a level above. The steak tartare had the fundamentals of being fantastic however execution was below the standard of the dish. It really required the horseradish aioli to keep the flavor from being flat. If I were to make a suggestion, lose the undressed arugula, sub with some dressed micro greens (something spicy still) and fresh grated horseradish and maybe a mustard vinaigrette on top. It would have cut the heavy flat flavour of the oil and egg yolk (I think) mix Wich basically made an aioli as well. Anyway...The main was very enjoyable. Two quality chunks of tenderloin with shrimp, asparagus, and hollandaise sauce. It was a nice dish. Maybe some Tarragon in the sauce would have made it more traditional... I wasnt complaining though.Bottles of wine were half price as well as the apps before 6pm. Server made a very nice wine suggestion which went well with our meal.Small tables which is ok, however the candles take up more space than necessary. I would probably suggest some Edison bulb laps for the table. Would also add some much needed warmth to the ambiance.All in all I gave this 4 stars. Good service, good food, small yet cozy, and very reasonably priced. I will return for another try in the future.
I had a wedding here and it was a beautiful intimate space! Perfect for aNice romantic dinner, or to rent out for a medium size gathering! Staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, atmosphere was great and I can’t wait to come back and try the food.
Had a early Valintines celebration dinner. I had oysters and tasted as fresh ones o have had in PEI. we both had the stake that was cooked to perfection. Overall great meal.
We had an amazing experience tonight at SB Prime. We made a reservation during happy hour an enjoyed a number of cocktails & appetizers for a great deal. Everything tasted incredible and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back soon!

The Bone Marrow was tasty, smokey, flavourful, paired with their Parsley Salad and Crostini, it was amazing! The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, very smokey as well, meat was tender and the Horseradish Aioli was totally AWESOME!! Truffle Fries unfortunately was soggy and lacked truffle flavour… Lobster Sliders came with 4 amazing sliders, loaded with butter poached lobsters chunks, on their soft brioche buns!
This really is my favourite place recently! All our date nights/take out have been from SB prime for the past little while.They make the BEST martinis and I love so many of their dishes. Tartar (steak and tuna) are absolutely delicious. Love the lobster sliders and the burgers too! Can't go wrong here.
We had googled for a good steakhouse in Burlington and had never heard of SB Prime before today. What a wonderful experience! A la carte steak and sides cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The highlight was the service. The chef via our table side service was impeccable. Friendly, interested, engaging, and genuine. Our experience here from beginning to end was stellar. Thanks for making my husbands birthday - a rare night out for us without the kid - delicious and warm!
